Job Description

• Able to carry out Bunker Quantity & Quality Surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently
• Prepare Bunker Quantity Survey reports
• Report any bunker discrepancies or violation (Quantity and Quality) and provide solution accordingly
• Bunker surveys are to be carried out under the MPA regulation, in accordance to the latest standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with Shipping Agents, Suppliers, and Clients for on-arrival surveys

Job Requirements

Job Description:
• Supporting and reporting to Director and Asst. QS Manager
• To perform the full spectrum of duties required of as a quantity surveyor
• To be in control and responsible for the management of all contracts/sub-contracts activities
• including, meeting project budget, ensure profitability, terms and conditions of the contract/
• sub-contract, schedule procurement activities to meet projects deadline.
• To oversee, lead and manage the qs team for the overall direction, coordination, execution
• of the projects from tender development to inception of construction to final completion of the
• Projects.
• To oversee, lead and manage the purchase team for the overall direction, development to inception of
• construction to final completion of the project.

Requirement:
• At least 1 years Quantity Surveyor working experience

Responsibilities:

• Prepare project tender documents and contracts.
• Participate in pre-tender activities with clients, architects, and project managers, and raise pre-bid queries.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for optimal prices and terms.
• Perform cost estimation, quantity take-offs, prepare BOM, source suppliers and quotations, verify claims, and prepare progress and variation claims.
• Coordinate with other departments and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalents.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction industry.
• Proficient in aluminium window and door systems, metal wall cladding, and glass curtain walls.
