Assisting the Finance Manager in performing day to day accounting and finance functions covering all aspects of financial management, financial accounting, budgeting, statutory and internal audit and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

1. Managing financial accounting and reporting functions

• Maintaining the accounting system and subsystems, ensuring accuracy of data transfer from source systems to accounting system.
• Supervising and reviewing the accounting process for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Asset Management in accordance with accounting standards and principles.

• Ensuring annual statutory auditing process are carried out timely and according to compliance.
• Organising effective internal audit process to ensure systems and internal control processes integrity.

4. Managing financial policies and internal control processes

• Identifying and assessing operational and financial risks
• Assisting to develop and execute risk management strategies to protect the organization's financial assets.
• Ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and processes

5. Managing stakeholders

• Liaising with internal stakeholders on operational matters
• Liaising with statutory bodies and other external consultants for operational, financial matters.
• Liaising with bankers for banking and online banking maintenance matters.

Job Requirements

• Min. Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent (Candidates with ACCA/CA will have an added advantage)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide robust advice and support on reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, with customers, suppliers, business partners and government authorities, etc.
• Act as a trusted business partner in facilitating the commercial team’s assessment of risks and rewards from a legal perspective, whilst safeguarding Maersk’s values, interests and reputation.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Maersk’s contracting policies, materials and processes.
• Responsible for engaging and managing of external legal counsel, including legal budget.

Who we are looking for candidates that represent the following:

• Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent), with a minimum of 4 – 5 years of relevant legal experience in private practice at a reputable law firm with international clients and/or in a multinational company. Experience in the logistics industry will be a strong advantage.
• Highly competent in written and spoken English (fluency in the Mandarin language is highly preferred to support business contract in the Chinese market), with strong communication skills including empathy and tact.
• Proficiency in contracting, with demonstrable skill in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.

About The Role

We’re currently looking for Regional HR and Admin Executive to join our team and help support our growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR and Admin support to our regional office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation, and issuance.
• Onboarding and Offboarding procedures for new joiners/leavers (e.g., Orientation/Exit Interview
• Process and prepare employment-related letters
• Maintaining internal staff and contractors’ record
• Payroll management for Singapore & Hong Kong
• Contracting Payroll & Administration for external contractors regionally
• Government Claims Submission (CPF/GPL)
• Tax filing & tax clearance for Singapore & Hong Kong
• Preparing documentation for internal and external auditors
• Insurance & License Renewals (Medical Insurance, Office Insurance & EA/BR License)
• Maintain local office daily operation such as receiving the mails and pantry supplies
• Ad hoc job duties, projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Business/ Accountancy / HR or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF Act, Income Tax and legislation in Singapore
• Good soft skills across communication and working well with a variety of colleagues across the region.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail is essential

Create and maintain test cases, test plans and test reports to ensure they are up to date with project and security requirements
Conduct testing on new features and file defects

Requirements
What are we looking for?

Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline.
At least 5 years of professional experience in software quality testing
Proficient in testing techniques, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery
At least 3 years of experience in leading a team
Experience with open source automated testing frameworks (preferably Cypress) and open source performance testing tools (e.g. k6) is preferred
Experience in Agile development teams, employing relevant methodologies and practices such as Scrum
Keen to share knowledge with team mates and mentor fellow developers
