Job Description:

Support department for daily and administrative works
Prepare, compile and update Operation and Maintenance Manual for submission.
Raise Material Requisition (MR) using in-house BC system.
Assist in sourcing for products, project documentations.
Assist to liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for product information.
Assist to monitoring and updating of project deliveries trackers.
Assist in compiling project material costs of purchased goods and tools record.
Assist to generate reports, data, and other relevant documents as per project requirements.
Assist in project monthly progressive claim tabulation.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:Possess minimum in O Level/ Certificate / Diploma.
Experience in Administrative / Documentations.
Proficient in MS Office Applications.
Familiar with Aconex Submission procedure would be added advantage.
Meticulous, positive, and proactive with good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Assist operations of all HR and Admin functions and duties especially in the area of foreign manpower

• Handle foreign workers payroll, work pass application/renewal and leaves, etc.
• Timely Collection of foreign workers timesheets and attendance records and inputting details into the payroll system accurately
• Managing of staff and foreign workers leave & benefits administration etc
• Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
• Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
• Collate staff expense claims and monitor annual / medical leave
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
• Maintain work pass record tracking and follow-up closely on all work pass transactions
• Deal directly with foreign manpower on daily basis to settle their issues
• Handle company insurances especially for foreign workers workmen compensation and medical and other relevant insurances
• Requisition and maintenance of office suppliers and consumables
• Attend to visitors of all levels
• Perform any other ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by Director

Requirements

• Min GCE ‘O’ Level
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Good MS office skills and good knowledge of IT skills
• Must be meticulous
• Experience in Construction Industry preferred

Assistant Professor (tenure track) Positions in Ecology

The Asian School of the Environment (ASE, https://www.ntu.edu.sg/ase) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore seeks to appoint several Assistant Professors (tenure track) in tropical ecology. We broadly welcome applications across all areas of tropical ecology. This can include, but is not limited to, forest ecology, marine ecology, biodiversity research, conservation ecology, soil ecology, or plant or animal ecology.

Successful candidates should demonstrate the potential to build a world-class research programme and a commitment to education and mentorship of students, and to meaningfully contribute to our ambitions to have societal and environmental impact in Singapore and the surrounding region. They will teach within ASE at both undergraduate and at postgraduate levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who would be interested in teaching introductory-level ecology courses, including statistics.

Applicants must have a PhD in ecology, environmental biology, environmental science, geography, marine science, or in a related field, and show evidence of impactful, independent research in the field of ecology. We will consider a candidate’s past outputs, current research programme, likelihood to obtain future funding support, and potential and enthusiasm to develop their own research leadership in tropical ecology. Past research experience in tropical environments is essential.

ASE collaborates closely with the Earth Observatory of Singapore, and other schools in NTU’s College of Science, including the School of Biological Sciences.
