We are seeking a talented and collaborative post-doctoral researcher to work in the broad scope of host-pathogen interactions and infectious diseases. The lab has various funded projects on the comparison of host-alphavirus interactions at the immune response level in vivo in animal models through a novel viral-centric and multiOmic approach. Other projects include immune response evaluation of vaccine adjuvant candidates, development of cell-based reporter systems of viral infections to facilitate and accelerate antiviral studies, as well as development of novel vaccine strategies.

The candidate will be expected to work on funded projects as well as develop novel research projects in the scope of the lab research interests to be able to apply to the various early career development schemes both at an internal and external national level. Virus studied in the lab are positive sense RNA viruses as well as some negative sense RNA viruses. Animals models available in the lab include mice and zebrafish.
