ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes Safety culture in the workplace.
• Responsible for the preparation, compilation and maintenance of safety manuals to ensure compliance with safety regulatory standards that meets the Company’s HSE policy and objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring the Safety Management System is maintained and properly followed to comply with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements, and that it meets the Company’s HSE policy objectives.
• Continuous review of the HSE Manual and its’ implementation.
• Promotes good HSE practices and ensures these practices are in place and safety regulations followed.
• Conducts investigation of accidents and near miss incidents reported.
• Organizes and conducts HSE training plans.
• Intervenes in unsafe activities or operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Safety officer (RSO) with MOM.
• Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering / Diploma in Chemical Process and its equivalent/ WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE working experience with knowledge of local statutory requirements & HSE standards, preferably within manufacturing or O&G industry.
• Proficient in MS Office (words, excel, powerpoint).
• Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.

• Work 4 days per week roster, ie. 2 weekdays per week and on every Sat and Sun, including public holidays.

Job Scope:

• Handle all operational matters and work closely with sales team to ensure fulfilment of sales.
