JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professional service to walk-in customers and assisting customers with product information, selection and purchase.
- Take charge of merchandising and styling of the showroom to create impactful displays.
- Assist in handling online and call-in enquiries.
- Assist in the management of social media marketing.
- Maintain general cleanliness and luxury ambience in the showroom.

Position: Full Time
Salary: SGD2,000 to SGD3,000 per month
Supplemental Pay: Commission pay, performance bonus
Working Hours: 11am to 7pm

Job Description

●Attending to call-in and email sales enquiries, order processing and providing sales and customer support

●Providing administrative & sales support

●Maintain and ensure system customer listing is accurate and up-to-date

●Communicate requirements and activities to salesperson

●Process Quotations and Sales/Purchase Orders

●Manage Inventory and plan stock replenishment

●Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings

●Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them

●Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.

●Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.

●Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships

Role:

• Manage sales operations within designated territories for robotic hull cleaning.
• Maintain customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate engineering support for sales activities.
• Meet sales targets in collaboration with the Managing Director.
• Engage with potential customers including Agents, Ship Managers, and Ship Owners.
• Align sales priorities with the company’s marketing strategy.
• Provide input to ensure product range meets market needs.
• Negotiate contracts under favorable market conditions.
• Participate in public relations events with marketing counterparts.
• Contribute to exhibitions, demonstrations, and trade shows.
• Prepare and deliver quotations following established procedures.
• Process orders according to current guidelines.
• Assist in ensuring accurate ordering during internal contract reviews.
• Gather market intelligence to inform company strategy.
• Assist in developing sales plans and budgets.
• Advise on and enforce sales policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in roles such as Sales Manager or Inside Sales.
• Previous experience in sales within the Marine industry.
• A self-motivated and proactive individual.
• A creative thinker with the ability to innovate.
• Good network connections with ship owners and ship managers.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out account management responsibilities which include developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers, provide professional quotations and ensure prompt payment from customers.
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters in respect of the portfolio of customers either developed by you or assigned to you.
• Develop a trusted “advisor” relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive management of customers.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the Products and Services according to customer needs and objectives.
• Provide input for weekly, monthly and quarterly Activity Reports and the necessary plans and reports for Marine and Offshore business, as requested by the Management.
• Maintain assigned customers and develop new assigned customers to ensure continuous sustainable business growth.
• Communicate and work closely with colleagues from other departments in ensuring the overall Company objectives/performance are/is achieved, at all times.
• To achieve the required Sales Targets.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in related field/discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of successful Sales experience within the Marine and Offshore Industry, preferrably in Marine NavCom.
• Possess ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions, products and services based on customer needs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at any time while paying strict attention to details.
• Proven ability to use common office and business technologies.
• Good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in SAP system will be advantageous.
