The Vice President Sales and Marketing will work together with the Chief Commercial Officer and Marketing Vice Presidents as necessary to devise and implement various commercial strategies in relation to the company’s fleet of aircraft, and will include the following job functions:
· Collection of market data related to the company’s fleet, management of such data and the analysis of the data
· Establishing initial contacts with prospective clients and basic commercial discussions
· Organizing internal deal teams to work on projects and transactions
· Project management
· Commercial analysis of potential transactions
· Preparation of marketing presentations and brochures
Candidates must possess the following in order to qualify for the position:
· A University Degree in the engineering or applied finance field
· At least 5 years of work experience in the aviation industry of which ideally should have been spent working for an aircraft manufacturer and/or an aircraft leasing company
· Ability to work well with team members and able to communicate well with peers and staff of different levels
· Interest in the commercial aerospace and/or international business fields
· Resourcefulness, strong self-motivation to find solutions and solve problems
· Willingness to learn, self-awareness, high EQ, and cultural awareness
· Fluency in English and be fluent in at least French or Spanish language
