The Economics and Statistics Unit of IRSG is leanly staffed. The Unit currently roll-out twenty-two publications in a year. The Unit will also be distilling policy briefs from the publications and conduct Senior Policy Seminars for decision makers in the world rubber industry.

The Head, Economics and Statistics deliver ten out of the twenty-two yearly publications, the Chief of Staff roll-out four out of the twenty-two publications including Policy Briefs and also conduct Senior Policy Seminars while the Manager, Economics and Statistics will deliver ten out of the twenty-two yearly publications independently.

Within the limits of delegated authority, the software development and information technology manager is responsible for the following duties:

§ Day-to-day monitoring, technical support, and planning of all aspects of the IT network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/wireless network).

§ planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading the overall IT efficiency of the secretariat and the cyber security measures for the protection and efficient operation of IRSG data, systems, and networks.

We’re a manufacturing firm and currently inviting an experienced Regional Sales Director to drive our new business growth in the Asia Pacific region.

• Drive market expansion in Asia Pacific markets through existing and new channels;
• Create and execute sales strategies in order to gain market share;
• Identify potential market, lead development and expansion of company's presence in strategic markets;
• Develop services and solutions based on understanding of market trends and preference of customers;
• Build and develop market penetration and go-to-market strategies;
• Understand competitor, market and industry trends and develop strategies for product positioning;
• Monitor sales numbers and forecast sales activities;
• Lead and guide regional sales teams to meet targets and strategic goals, provide guidance and motivation support.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on regional sales performance
• Work with the team to drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building
• Drive revenue growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts
• Responsible for Regional Team profitability of the company’s P&L

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree with relevant field of studies

· Min. 10 years of sales experience or in an equivalent sales management/Director role

· Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach

· Ability to travel within the region as required

. Ability to communicate and report to Japan HQ, thus Knowledge of Japanese is essential.

. Experience and knowledge in Spring manufacturing will be an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

• To lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of all warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, shipping and facilities management.
• Ensure all goods in the warehouse are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred and dispatched; goods / order information capture are fully performed accurately and timely as per WI & SOP.
• Optimum space and resource planning though analysis of inbound and outbound volume forecast: plan while ensure productivity, quality and customer service are met.
• Manage and monitors the operation KPI.
• Manage and monitors the need to replenish warehouse consumable supplies and upgrade/maintenance of material handling equipment.
• Cost control to improve and reduce handling and supplies to achieve monthly budget targets.
• Manage cost effectiveness and constantly strive to improve productivity and quality service.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle count.
• Ensure proper storage and good housekeeping standards (5S).
• Establish and maintain standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Others ad-hoc duties related to the warehouse management assigned by direct superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent, preferably in Logistics Management or experience in managing electronics goods warehouse.
• Experience in WMS and MS Office proficiency will be an advantage
• Possesses initiative and able to work independently
• Strong Leadership, Interpersonal, People Management and Communication skills
• Attention to details and organized.
• A pro-active team player with hands-on approach.
