Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for making or improving different types of tools to enable the production processes within Cicor manufacturing facility to be as efficient as possible. This may include jigs, fixtures, clamps, or moulds to obtain a more robust consistently produced part that meets the specification of the customer. Likely to manage others and have some budgetary responsibilities.

· Closely work with the Design team as well as Project Managers to ensure seamless workflow in toolroom and meet customer needs as well as Cicor budget objectives.

· Lead and co-ordinate resources within the Toolroom (EDM/CNC/Toolmakers and mould testers) to ensure all tooling are produced efficiently, on time and in line with quality standards ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to implement and maintain a production planning system.

· Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the team. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

· Transfer the projects from supplier/internal to production sites with proper IQ, OQ and PQ validation.

· Provide technical solution to resolve mould issues for design and mould fabrication.

· Provide weekly updated production planning chart to superiors.

· Able to communicate closely with customer and internal teams effectively.

· Provide leadership in ensuring project meets customer’s timeline and expectation/specification.

Duties and Responsibilities – Deputy Department Manager

(Distribution/Warehouse)

Basically, your duties as Deputy Department Manager are as follows:

Distribution and Shipping

1. Responsible for liaising with vendor/s regarding all activities connected with movement

of goods.

2. In-charge of the preparation, processing and distribution of shipping documentation, insurance, customs clearance, etc.

15. Ensure that all safety measures are complied with the requirements of the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act.

Staff Management

16. Supervise the department’s supervisors and store assistants’ work performances and job functions; to ensure that all staff discharge their duties correctly and smoothly in accordance to department’s system and company’s regulations.
