The Channel Sales Manager will lead efforts to identify and develop customer relationships within the composites business, collaborating closely with the business development team on portfolio transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer needs and identify unique product value.
- Managing distributors within the ASEAN region to drive sales.
- Pursue sales opportunities through market analysis.
- Develop strategic plans for existing customers and promote new products.
- Work independently to achieve sales targets and build a regional team as needed.
Key Account Management:
- Create sales strategies and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop prospect lists and finalize sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with global and regional sales teams.
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee contracting and quotations.
- Ensure supply agreements are in place and manage customer data.
- Handle customer complaints and measure satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Possess minimum 3 to 5 years in the chemical industry, preferably in composites.
- Proven negotiation skills and a relevant degree.
- Understanding of business administration, industrial markets, and strong communication skills.
- Passionate and customer-focused, results-driven, and ethical.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Willingness to travel within ASEAN region
