about the job
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be required to provide comprehensive assistance to our customers via phone and email. Your responsibilities will span the entire order lifecycle, including prompt processing of purchase orders within our ERP system, issuing purchase orders to suppliers, and expediting deliveries to ensure on-time delivery for all open sales orders. You'll be responsible for providing weekly updates on open sales orders to customers and distributors, ensuring transparency and proactive communication at all stages of the process.
Your dedication to excellence will be evident in our key performance indicators, as you work diligently to maintain a service level above 95% in Salesforce.com. Beyond order processing, you'll play a crucial role in inventory management, liaising with third-party logistics companies for inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation to uphold operational efficiency. You'll also collaborate closely with finance to facilitate payment processes and maintain meticulous documentation of all sales and shipping records.
skills and experience required
