JOB DESCRIPTION

Joining the company as a trainee, you will be assigned a mentor who will work closely with you in your first 6 month as you become familiar with the role and industry. During this time, you will see first-hand what goes into ensuring a private jet charter goes off with ease. You will learn everything from how to build a successful sales list, work with HNWI and of course, how to administer a charter flight all whilst delivering service beyond expectation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales supervisors of retail sales employees may:

Greet and assist customers

What’s the job?

Develop new sales opportunities, build a robust sales platform and manage assigned account base in order to generate revenue and maximise performance both for the short and long term in line with sales target. Conducts active market research and intelligence for the hotel to provide feedback on competitors, market trends and identifying new business potentials. To support Director of Sales by driving performance of Corporate Sales team.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Research market place and pursue opportunities for potential new accounts
• Manage assigned account base for self and that of Corporate Sales team to exceed targets for total revenue
• Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers, influencers, meeting planners, event organisers, associations and other producers closely aligned to each business unit
• Monitor and report on sales activity undertaken and measurement of results through maintaining of accurate records in the sales tools and action plans
• Development of sales strategies and action plans to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored and goals are achieved – launch tactical promotions if required
• Act as a trusted business advisor by clients; ensure that commitments are met and value is delivered
• Planning and preparation for overseas sales visit, trade fairs, educational or familiarization groups to promote the hotel and develop potential business
• Minimum of 20 sales-related activities (such as sales calls, site inspections and in-house entertainments) per week
• Principles are being communicated and implemented.
• Monitor competitor practices and accounts, monthly RGI scorecards and diagnostic tools in order to understand competitor trends
• Ensure that all stakeholders are made aware of systems, procedures, and information relating to the delivery of all revenue from sales market segments
• Develop and maintain strong relations with stakeholders whose support, cooperation, and services are critical to the success of sales
• Maintain strong presence in the local community by participating in business / industry organisations, associations and developing a broad external network
• Ensure active management of individual GAPs and personal development plan.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Here are how your day-today responsibilities of the role will look like, but are not limited to:

• Participate and conduct various general administrative tasks using Expereo’s Back Office Systems;
• Pre-qualify sales requests as delegated by Account Managers;
• Create and submit quotations to Account Managers or customers in timely manner;
• Submit availability check requests and process orders;
• Manage the correspondence between Account Managers and customers;
• Answer sales queries including phone and email communications;
• Provide data and reports to support the Sales Team;
• Follow up on any issues raised during quoting and provisioning phases;
• Ensure customer requirements are well distributed and understood among departments;
• For large opportunity, work together with Sales Project Manager in pre/post-sales planning. This includes but is not limited to project rollout planning, creating, following up, and reviewing budgetary and firm quotation before submitting to the Account Managers;
• Keep Sales information on the Back Office System clean and updated;

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You are an eager person with a focus on results and client satisfaction;
• You have completed higher tertiary education (Nitec, Diploma) or higher, and can demonstrate by experience a similar level;
• You hold a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience;
• You have experience in an international environment, preferably within an international Telco environment;
• You have excellent communication skills in English, another language is beneficial;
• You are well organised, meticulous, excellent communication skills and is a team player;
• Able to start work immediately/within short notice

As a Sales Development Representative (Outbound), you'll be responsible for:

What a Senior Manager, Technical Sales Engineering, Card Present Processing does at Visa:

The role will be responsible for providing technical and functional expertise for Visa Acceptance Platform card present solutions to merchants, acquirers, payment service providers or technology partners. The role requires you to lead the technical pre-sales consultation, implementation, and integration of new or existing clients.

You will be required to work closely with regional & local sales teams, internal operations teams, and product teams to ensure success. The success of this role will be measured on growth of revenue and successfully integrated clients. Candidates should have demonstrated skills in card present solutions implementation with merchants, acquirers, payment service providers or technology providers. The candidate should also possess Solution Consulting, Architecture Design, Project management, Business Process consulting, and presentation/training in complex IT environments. Familiarity with SaaS solutions related to bankcard/acquiring, payment gateway, payment security, and fraud prevention.
