We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to fill the role of Marketing and Event Manager to increase our social media awareness and improve our brand presence.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Marketing:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with brand strategy.
- Collaborate with business and design teams to create promotional strategies that enhance market penetration and revenue growth.
- Drive digital marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels.
- Manage marketing and content calendar across all marketing channels including content development and updates on web and apps.
- Supervise content creation across diverse social media platforms.
- Lead a team of marketers and content creators to meet business objectives.
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
2. Event Planning and Execution:
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops and roadshows.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in alignment with company goals and branding guidelines.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, accommodations, and audiovisual requirements.
- Setup event, registration, and on-site management to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor and evaluate event success, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events.
- Liaise with team members and departments to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as requested by supervisor or management.
Job Requirements :
- Diploma in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or related field.
- Good knowledge of marketing strategies, SEO, SEM and social media.
- Proven experience in social media marketing and event planning.
- Experience in team management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Startup mindset is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the APAC marketing landscape will be a plus.
