Sales Executive Job Duties:

Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC FairPrice and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Day to day monitoring and coordination with 3PL warehouses in logistics (inbound & outbound) operation issues.
2. Trigger and coordinate with 3PL for adhoc operation e.g. transloading
3. Coordinate between 3PL and GLS transport team for movement operation for goods.
4. Trigger 3PL outbound order processing
5. To submit an investigation/incident report as and when damaged goods are discovered.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Mechanical or Precision Engineering and above.
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience in Precision/Medtech manufacturing industries.
• Understands BOM and Drawings.
• Prior experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Possess valid driving license and own vehicle will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop new customers and manage existing accounts by means of mid-long mid-term Sales Account Development Strategies.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs to grow sales, opportunities and foster a positive customer relationship..
• Prepare weekly and monthly Sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Work with various departments to respond to customers’ technical queries.
• Review customer’s quotation requirements against company’s resources and capabilities.
• Follow-up with customers on quotations submitted to secure orders.

Job responsibilities:

• To support the planning, development, production and delivery of communications materials and initiatives;
• To manage the organisation’s corporate website (content management system) and ensure microsites are updated and in keeping with corporate identity and guidelines;
• To coordinate and support the management of the organisation’s social media platforms;
• To assist in media relations, including releases and interviews;
• To assist with corporate secretarial matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements;
• To provide administrative support in matters pertaining to corporate governance and charity;
• To plan and coordinate corporate events, from preparing budget, organising communication materials, engaging stakeholders, sponsors and vendors, attending to venue management and coordinate on-site logistics;
• To support and undertake other communications duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing Communication, Mass Communication or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications preferably in the healthcare industry;
• Proficient in MS Office with good documentation and administrative skills;
• Knowledge in design of software like Adobe Photoshop, illustrator etc will be an advantage;
• Able to work beyond office hours and on weekends/Public Holidays for meetings and events.
