Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Marketing Support

- Assist the Marketing Director in supporting the sales team (Retail and Food Service) with promotional activities and campaigns by providing logistical support, coordinating agencies and materials, and ensuring the timely execution of marketing initiatives.

- Assist the Marketing Director in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote the company's own core brands and third-party brands.

- Manage relationships with 3rd party brand partners, coordinating marketing initiatives and promotional activities.

- Develop advertising and promotional materials for various channels, including digital, print and social media.

- Collaborate with sales team to develop sales support materials, trade decks, retail in-store point of sales materials, online sponsored ads and product catalogues.

- Manage marketing budget and activation

- Coordinate participation in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events to showcase the company’s product and services.

2. Retail Marketing

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and sales within the retail showroom.

- Execute showroom-specific marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives aimed at attracting potential customers and enhancing the retail experience.

- Oversee retail merchandising efforts, ensuring that products are displayed effectively to attract customers and optimize sales.

3. Marketing Apps Maintenance

- Manage ongoing maintenance and updates for mobile apps (eg Food Service CRM, Food Service ordering app, Merchandiser App) with external agency. This include bug fixes, feature enhancements, platform optimization.

- Monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.

- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for mobile apps. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate designs to enhance overall user experience.

4. Performance Tracking and Reporting

- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations to communicate sales and marketing performance.

Position Summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our Solution team in the APMEA region (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa), to become the region's Subject Matter Expert for the targeted Point of Sale solution of our portfolio.

The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for solution portfolio management and pre-sales.

This client-facing position requires a deep understanding of requirements and business drivers for Toshiba’s products and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and customize point-of-sale software solutions according to client specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, delivery and customer support to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during installation, configuration, and proof of concept phases.
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals and contribute to the product team to maintain installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and business partners to showcase the capabilities and features of the point-of-sale software.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to point-of-sale systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on point-of-sale software solutions.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE & SPECIAL SKILLS

The successful candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:

• Proven experience with the Retail industry and general retail technologies
• Strong understanding of retail operations and business processes, particularly in the context of point-of-sale systems.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to facilitate and lead meetings.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description:

• Daily accounting operations, finance matters, administrative tasks and HR duties
• Assist the Manager with the full spectrum of financial, accounting and HR functions
• Assist the Manager to ensure compliance of corporate governance and internal controls
• Monitor and review budgets
• Lead and supervise junior staff within the Finance Department
• Assist the Manager with HR duties and payroll matters
• Liaise with government institutions, tax agents, auditors, bankers, insurance agents and secretarial and submit necessary returns, surveys and reports when required
• Prepare reports and budgets for periodic submission to the Management Board

Job Requirements:

• At least an Accountancy Degree or ACCA
• Highly hands-on and experienced in maintaining full set of accounts
• Working knowledge of MYOB will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Sharp, meticulous, honest and a fast learner
• Minimum 5 years of full set experience in a supervisory role
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) to liaise with Chinese speaking customers and suppliers

• Plan & manage overall project scheduling, including documentation, commissioning & hand-over
• Maintain quality control and manage sub-contractors & suppliers
• Manage project budget & cost control
• Understand building & regulatory requirements & ensure compliance
• Control site management and attend or conduct site meetings
• Administer routine management reporting & updates

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 3-4 years of working experience with proven track records in events and exhibitions industry.
• Meticulous and good planning and co-ordination skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of structural, AV and M and E preferred
• Strong leadership skills
• Motivated, keen to learn, hardworking and a good team player
