Purpose

The candidate will participate in clinical research projects in SERI related to Glaucoma, including examination of study participants, collection andorganization of clinical and imaging data in order to characterize the underlying disease mechanisms of the disease and to determine the factors associated with disease progression. The Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) was formed in 2016 to be the central coordinating platform for translational research and multi-centre clinical trials for thoracic malignancies in the Asia Pacific region. It is hosted by National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The types of events include, but are not limited to, virtual, hybrid and in-person advisory board meetings, educational seminars and workshops. The Laboratory of Surgical System & Service Innovation (3SI) is a multi-disciplinary laboratory that provides a platform for cutting-edge surgical health services research that informs healthcare systems, policies, and programs to provide high-value, patient centered care for patients and their families undergoing surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, meticulous, and responsible Research Fellow to work closely with a team of experienced researchers and the clinical team in health system, services innovation, and novel surgical technologies research.

You will be part of a holistic clinical and health services research team whose mission is to improve clinical outcomes for seriously ill patients in surgery.

The Senior Research Fellow will join the SERI AIDH Group for a six-month period. Responsibilities

Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. You will be based at outpatient clinics across NUHS, at Alexandra Hospital or National University Polyclinics. You will be primarily responsible for subject recruitment and other research deliverables for the studies. You will work closely with the research team and the Principal Investigator of the study.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

1) Subject Recruitment and follow up

• Be involved in subject recruitment, scheduling and data entry. Screen patients based on study eligibility, and communicate the study aims to potential subjects in layman terms.
• Obtain consent taking, administer study questionnaires and follow-up on study participants.
• Work closely with research team, clinicians, clinic staff and other relevant internal departments to ensure research study needs are met.

2) Research Documentation / Administrative duties
