PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Commercial activity / negotiation for LNG short term/spot marketing and optimization

1. Maintain and expand the network in LNG trading industry and shipping community especially with the Japanese counterparties in Singapore through daily communication.
2. Negotiate spot/short term deals and/or optimization opportunities with external customers, traders and suppliers in English and Japanese. Propose and draft key terms and conditions for those trade opportunities. Communication in relation to MC as a shareholder or DGI’s equity volume or affiliated volume.
3. Attend the internal discussion for SPOT/Short term trading strategy of DGI and/or MC, etc.
4. Manage, negotiate, review and finalize (including execution arrangement) commercial contracts such as Confidential Agreement, MSPA and Confirmation Notice etc.
5. Ad hoc support in relation to DGI’s LNG marketing, trading and optimization.

2. Operation/implementation of LNG short term/spot cargoes and ships

1. Manage and coordinate with external/ internal cargo operation team. Liaise with MC operation department in Tokyo who is service provider for cargo operation including Ship-Shore Compatibility Study (SSCS) and ship movement.
2. Monitor the business process of the cargo transaction. Maintain customer lists updated through business process for Know Your Customer (KYC), Master Sales and Purchase Agreement (MSPA), credit line.
3. General information exchange with external parties (journalists, LNG brokers etc.).

3. Economics and risk analysis for short term/spot cargoes

1. Maintain, upgrade the shipping/freight model and evaluate economics/transaction value & risk analysis (physical trading and contract analysis).

4. Participation in internal and/or external meeting / conferences

1. Upon team’s request, attend internal/external LNG conferences (such as CWC, GASTECH and any others, including traveling overseas), setting up the catch-up meetings with counterparties.
2. Engagement with MC as well as DGI or MC’s global offices around the world (including marketing / trading opportunities and emerging markets opportunities).

• (i) Reporting, liaising and collaborating with MC offices in Japan and provides commercial supports for marketing and optimization.
• (ii) Liaising and collaborating with MC London Office who looks after the Atlantic market and provides commercial supports including but not limited to marketing, sourcing, European storage, regas capacity, shipping.
• (iii) Liaising and collaborating with other MC global officesrelated to LNG business.

The product manager drives the development of key bancassurance-focused products.

Job Description:

The product manager is responsible for product design, implementation, product launch and post-launch product review and maintenance.

• The product design stage will include competitive analysis against similar bancassurance products in the market, as well as working with other LBUs in the region for product ideas. In instances where there is limited product information available, product manager will need to engage reinsurance for experience sharing.
• Engage stakeholders through product proposition presentations and soliciting product feedback from Partnership distribution to work with pricing team and reinsurers to develop products that meet customer’s needs while achieving business objectives.
• The implementation stage may include engaging the Product Development Team (PDT – a team made up of members from all departments who will be involved in the product launch) to ensure that systems are ready for the launch. Other Responsibilities

· Embed Here for Good and Group’s brand and values in country.

· Perform other responsibilities in accordance to relevant policies and procedures.

· Compliance to Group and country policies and procedures including local regulations

· Involve in projects and any ad-hoc requests or assignments which may be directed by reporting line manager

Our Ideal Candidate

· 7+ years of experience in Risk management.

· Strong understanding of the IRB models / scorecards across Wholesale and Retail Portfolios.

· Strong regulatory interpretation skills on technical aspects.

· Good understanding of the Credit Risk and Credit data.

· Comfortable to communicate with senior management and other key stakeholders across different risk teams in the bank.

· Ability to present complex information in a succinct manner to senior management.

· Should know SAS / SQL / equivalent aside of having excellent Excel, Word and PPT skills.

· Bachelor’s degree or above in statistics, economics, finance or any other related academic field.

· This is key contributor role which will require very good planning and coordination to deliver timely and high quality.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

· Strong understanding of MAS AIRB requirement

· Credit Risk Models

· IFRS 9 ECL Models

· Some knowledge of Stress Testing

· Good understanding of model risk management

· Analytical and familiar with the Credit Risk and Credit data

· Model development and monitoring experience

· Advanced excel skill
