What a Sr Consultant, CS Onboarding & Advisory Services does at Visa: 

CS Onboarding & Advisory Services is a team of specialized project and program managers providing high touch support for strategic projects and non-routine client requested initiatives which would benefit from Visa technical expertise.

This position serves as Visa Project Manager (PM) for implementation services provided to Clients with specific focus on new client onboarding (including fintechs), strategic, multi-market and multi-solution and multi-phased projects. Depending on the complexity of the project, the PM may perform an additional role of an Advisor and deliver consultancy services to the client.

This is an individual contributor responsible for high-touch delivery while solving complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. This role serves as a critical touchpoint with Visa Clients, to ensure the implementation is executed successfully with a Go Live objective.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Lead and execute Visa client projects across new client onboarding and strategic client projects to ensure customer expectations are exceeded while maximising Visa Solution adoption and implementation in parallel to product developments and a changing landscape

The role works across a breadth of internal and external stakeholders to achieve the stated project objectives. If required, this role escalates projects that are in jeopardy and works with line management within Visa and the Client organization to make decisions that bring needed resources to resolve any issues.  The role serves as a technical/functional specialist and works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.  

Projects you will be a part of: 

The team will continue to define and improve the service experience for new client implementations for all new client types to develop & provide deeper levels of support to meet new client needs. This will include phasing project plans to encourage the adoption of more Visa solutions at the time on client onboarding.

The team will implement strategic or complex client projects requiring enhanced support which may include regional client projects spanning multiple markets, bundled solutions requiring a phased approach incorporating multiple stakeholder and multi-phased projects.

The team will provide advisory services for project use cases or clients that requires a deeper level of technical support, as part of a comprehensive service offering that Client Services is offering as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

Clinical Board:

• Provide secretariat support for Clinical Board meetings.

Relationship Manager (Financial Services)

You will work with senior management, client service representatives, product, operations, integration, and marketing teams to ensure deliverability for the client community. You will be coordinating all Solutions activity within the account(s) and be the point person for all client inquiries.

Summary

The role involves strategically managing finance matters across the Asia Pacific, working closely with the Regional Finance Controller and Country Finance Controllers/Managers. The responsibilities include coordinating financial planning/budgeting and analysis and overseeing working capital, treasury, and taxation. The individual in this role acts as a controller and business partner to the country finance team and other stakeholders. It is an individual contributor role where finance matters are handled locally by the country's finance team. The Asia Pacific region comprises 12 countries.

Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage working capital and treasury for countries across the Asia Pacific region. This includes ensuring that countries meet their accounts receivable past due KPIs and make efficient use of cash.

The following are the essential tasks that the role entails:

• Conduct weekly conference calls with focus stations to review the status of their receivables and ensure that their past-due accounts are within an acceptable range.
• Manage credit terms and amounts to ensure they are in place and adhered to. This involves overseeing bad debt provisions and write-offs in line with company policy.
• Develop strong relationships with our corporate banks.
• Regularly review balance sheet reconciliations across Asia Pacific countries, including reviewing accruals.
• Participate in monthly performance reviews, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Plan and execute process improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls. This includes conducting regular internal audits to ensure proper vendor management.
• Participate in tax matters, such as transfer pricing, tax inquiries/audits, etc. Actively engage with our tax consultants across countries.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• A degree in Accounting/Finance or its equivalent.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, with at least 2-3 years of exposure in handling regions or multiple countries.
• Ability to meet deadlines and remotely manage country finance teams and other country leadership teams.
• Must be willing to engage in all aspects of finance/accounting while the company grows.
• Proven success in driving down past-due amounts and DSO figures.
