In your new role you will:

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement or a Sales & Marketing function
• Degree in Business Management with technical focus on Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar program
• Functional expertise in procurement knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, contract management, and quality management
• Effectively communicate and successfully manage relationships both with external and internal stakeholders

What You Can Expect

• Understand and apply the United States Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions (OFAC), Singapore’s Strategic Goods (Control) Act, and other applicable export and import control regulations by region.
• Act as primary liaison between Marvell Singapore, other APAC locations, and the Global Trade Compliance Team located in the United States.
• Oversee daily import/export transactions.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of the Global Export and Import Compliance Program implemented by Marvell and assist in the automation of key Trade Compliance processes.
• Support the Trade Compliance team with the domestic and foreign classification of products, software, and technologies, submittal of classification requests (“CCATS”), and export and import license applications.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings in export and import transactions.
• Assist in the monitoring of departmental metrics and perform other duties to help mitigate trade compliance risk.
• Monitor Marvell’s Global Trade Management (Oracle) system classification workbench to provide timely release of goods pending classification or other trade-related holds so the goods can be released and shipped on time.
• Review products for country-of-origin determination and support “subject to EAR” review analysis.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years or more of experience working in the Trade Compliance field within a fast-paced corporate environment.
• BA/BS degree preferred. U.S. Export Officer (CUSECO) or other Trade Compliance-related certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, or encryption products (EAR Categories 3, 4, 5 Part 1 & 2, and 7) will be an advantage.
• Ability to interpret U.S. and other applicable trade regulations and apply the requirements to business operations and R&D activities.
• Experience with obtaining Government trade authorizations.
• Experience with Government systems, DECCS, SNAP-R a plus.
