Responsibilities:

• Analyze short and long-term forecasting, analyze trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals.
• Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production.
• Support the hotel and maintain rate parity in all major channels of distribution such as Internet, GDS, CRO, OTA.
• Conduct a weekly Revenue Meeting where the current 90-day booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control.
• Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
• Receive all definite and tentative group bookings and provide the Director of Sales & Marketing with a qualified analysis of how each booking will affect occupancy, average rate and rooms profit.
• Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure growth.
• Establish proper goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance.
• Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through competitive shops, internet, news reports to find selling strategies and emerging trends.
• Explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate added revenue without increasing costs.
• Responsible for the maintenance of any software programs which contribute to the management of revenue.
• Skills Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing and other revenue management functions to include research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations and yield management.
• Ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, and marketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetration goals.
• Understanding of hotel operations and can associate with their needs through the revenue department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration / Revenue Management / Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue management systems and distribution tools.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage the Revenue and Reservations team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Adaptable and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skill.

This position generates new business by managing business relationships between UPS and designated Enterprise Accounts. He/She executes business plans by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue goals. This position leads service and sales activity across UPS's portfolio of products and services including Freight, Package, Forwarding, and Distribution. He/She drives global business growth through solution development, customer-facing communications, contract development, value creation, and negotiation. This position obtains knowledge about customers’ competitors to consult customers on UPS solutions that support their market competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains contract compliance and renewal process to ensure elements of contracts are being followed and negotiated by both UPS and the customer.
• Maintains and monitors customer information and account performance data for Freight, Package, and Forwarding and Distribution to track sales performance against sales objectives.
• Utilizes business information and analysis reporting tools to assess account performance analysis.
• Monitors and tracks competitors to gain competitive intelligence to be used in engaging prospects and customers.
• Builds high level Customer Relationships
• Identifies key decision makers within customer organizations to expand business opportunities across the enterprise portfolio.
• Works with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive account strategies for retention, penetration and acquisition of accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Business, or relevant discipline. Master’s Degree or MBA will be a plus
• Possess at least 7-10 years of experience in a field sales role.
• Candidate with strong experience background in life science and/or medical device/pharmaceutical industry (or related) with extensive knowledge of GMP/GSP/GDP environment and 3PL/4PL experience will be an added advantage
• Candidate with healthcare regulations knowledge or healthcare service experience is strongly preferred
• Familiar with ISO certification knowledge (especially ISO 13485:2003)
• Proven track record of increasing sales against plan objectives in previous assignments
• Business related travel will be required
