As Language Manager, Thai, you will be involved in ensuring that we deliver a great user experience to our international audience through high quality translations. As we work closely with team members in offices and regional stakeholders, it is very important that the candidate be comfortable working with teams across different time zones.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing, editing and/or translating high visibility UI content and high priority long form content of Meta family of apps and other core experiences
• Performing localization screenshot testing to identify linguistic and functional issues
• Working closely with product teams and performing hands-on linguistic testing on web and mobile devices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in English-to-Thai translation, product UI localization, linguistic reviews and translation quality management is required for monitoring the Thai translation quality for our family of apps and long-form content, and making appropriate decisions for necessary changes to improve it
• Thai language is required to communicate efficiently with our translation vendor teams, cross-functional teams, and occasionally, with our end-users in Thai
• Experience in creating and/or maintaining linguistic assets for Thai translation (e.g. terminology, style guides etc.) is required for being able to guide our translation vendor teams and reviewers in ensuring consistency, accuracy and appropriateness of Thai translation on the Meta family of apps
• Knowledge of Thai culture, society and current trends is required to ensure that the tone and style of our Thai translation is appropriate for millions of our end-users
• Familiarity with CAT tools is required in order to perform the day-to-day work of translation and linguistic reviews
• Experience in localization of online and mobile products from English to Thai is required to understand and detect the language-specific issues in product localization, and fix them by applying the right solutions

Job scope:

• Generate basic & detailed electrical engineering design development and electrical instrumentation input to other disciplines.
• Performs maintenance activities on servicing & repair of mechanical & electrical equipment onboard vessels, onsite or in workshop
• On-site investigations in the event of a breakdown to define the root-cause of the failure, takes remedial action & makes reliability improvements
• Monitor the serviceability of equipment & facilities & ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping & environment requirements
• Digital solution for generator, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop & review risk analysis & procedure
• Liaise with customers on work schedule & defect findings
• Immediate response to any urgent request for on-site, on board, or offshore work.
• The writing of on-site reports, and online assistance for troubleshooting,
• Temporary transfer to the repair workshop in the event of on-site works load drop,
• Compliance with travel rules to minimize costs and ensure the security,
• The support of the Sales teams for their opportunities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical rotating machines
• Candidate is required to work on-site or overseas for troubleshooting

Job Scope

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all Finance & Human Resources portfolio. This includes bookkeeping, financial accounting, invoicing, managing payment to vendors, reconciliation, reporting, tax and audit requirements, payroll, recruitment and HR related scope of work. You will be involved in bringing the Finance & Accounting activities in-house from an external vendor, evaluate and implement finance processes, recommend best practices and explore system implementation, as well as continually explore ways to streamline/ enhance ways of doing things internally.

This will be a Singapore portfolio with approximately focus of 70% on Finance & Accounting responsibilities + 30% HR scope of work.
