Responsibilities
β’ Contribute to the daily maintenance and administration of platform services, ensuring high availability and performance.
β’ Monitor and manage backup services across multiple platforms and locations to guarantee data integrity and availability.
β’ Support and troubleshoot identity and endpoint protection systems to enhance the overall security posture.
β’ Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain security hardening benchmarks for identity and endpoint protection.
β’ Provide support and troubleshooting for Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments, focusing on systems integral to identity and endpoint protection.
β’ Create and maintain Windows Server images tailored for optimal performance and security.
β’ Document administration processes and procedures specific to platform and backup services, identity, and endpoint protection.
β’ Install, set up, configure, and maintain systems and services related to platform operations and security.
β’ Monitor hardware, server, and appliance performance related to platform and backup services, identifying, and addressing issues proactively.
β’ Ensure the success of backup jobs for identity and endpoint protection systems, implementing improvements as needed.
β’ Proactively monitor system performance in the context of identity and endpoint protection, engaging in capacity planning.
β’ Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to platform and backup services, identity, and endpoint protection.
β’ Respond to alerts promptly, taking appropriate actions to maintain the integrity of platform and security services.
β’ Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and security metrics for analysis and review.
β’ Attend to and resolve incidents within defined Service Level Agreements, ensuring operational excellence.
Requirements
β’ Diploma / Degree in Computer Engineering or related
β’ Preferably one (1) years of IT system administration experience
β’ Relevant certifications in system administration, platform operations or security would be advantageous.
Β· Display enthusiasm for learning about emerging technologies, especially those relevant to platform and security operations.
Β· Be flexible to work in shifts to support operational needs, ensuring 24/7 coverage for critical systems.
