Treasury Markets (TM) balances the supply & demand of Liquidity & Capital to create sustainable value. Treasury Markets is the first line of defence responsible for managing the short-term liquidity position of the Bank.

Treasury Markets’ mandates are:

Treasury Markets Global Liquidity Management (TMLM) initiates and supports formulation and delivery of the group’s liquidity management mandate.

Business

· Manage the Bank’s liquidity agenda, balancing long-term liquidity planning with day-to-day management

· Manage the Group’s adherence to liquidity demands as set by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA), and any internal requirements (in line with Board Risk Appetite)

· Educate stakeholders across Treasury and the Businesses on both the changing liquidity regulatory landscape and on the general liquidity conditions of the bank, working across boundaries to ensure that information and ideas flow freely, and collaborating with key stakeholders on liquidity initiatives wherever possible

· Bring clarity to complex information, either by directly creating Management Information (MI), or influencing the development of such MI by championing and cultivating practical creativity across Treasury.

• Drive strong, consistent cadence, with associated training and collateral, for new product initiatives or planned launches; ensure sales plan and targets are agreed and executed against new launches
• Ensure optimal feedback loop, coordinating with CSM management, from customers into Product Strategy forums, utilizing appropriate CRM tools.
• Become a focal point / center of excellence around product communication, knowledge sharing, etc, organizing community calls or other forums to achieve this
• Ensure sales teams across LSEG understand LSEG vision, our product strategy by community, and how LSEG capabilities deliver for our customers
• Work with Business leadership to resolve issues and clear roadblocks across the organisation

Client engagement

• Provide resources for major client engagements and pitch meetings, martialing internal resources in collaboration with SAM management to drive revenue outcomes
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with key client relationships to drive business outcomes and inform our strategy

Product development, branding and messaging

• Ensure Customer Strategy represents the voice of the customer within the LSEG organization to inform strategic planning and investment decisions that underpin product development strategy
• Partner with Marketing to drive clear and specific brand messaging across businesses and align this with integrated campaigns to deliver growth; ensuring messaging aligns to customers priorities and concerns
• Ensure best in class product and industry training and deep subject matter expertise across the organization, ensuring visibility and engagement on learning and development in close partnership with learning organization.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• University degree or equivalent work experience
• Commercial / management experience
• Market domain experience across customers specifically with regards to Enterprise and Cloud Technology, and/or Pricing and Reference Data
• B2B sales experience/exposure
• Understanding of the trends and themes impacting technology within the financial services industry, familiarity with macroeconomic trends
• Demonstrated leadership skills

About The Role

As an Deputy Director, Finance in ALPS, you will report to CFO and responsible for management accounting, planning and analysis of the company including. You will be finance partner for business units within ALPS starting up new ventures, project including policy for design and implementation of costing models for products and services rendered to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• To lead in developing the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for both OPEX & CAPEX investments
• Review and seek management approval for the budgets and forecasts
• To review the results of versus plans and analyze the variances
• To partner HQ strategic and operation business teams for implementation of new activities and projects to provide preliminary costing for such activities to ensure that costings updated timely
• To assess the profitability of existing business activities and projects and ensure that costings are updated timely
• To engage site operations teams to understand their concerns and constraints and to recommend effective work processes so as to ensure the accuracy & completeness of accounting records
• To provide support to the financial accounting team in monthly closing of books and audits
• Continually review existing business processes, policies, costing methodology and the control environment and make recommendations for improvements or updates
• Any other responsibilities including ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA and a MBA qualification is preferred
• Preferably 10 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain industry
• Healthcare experience will be an added advantage
• Good analytical, organizational, writing and communication skills
• Meticulous, resourceful and have a positive work attitude

Responsibilities:

• Define, monitor and review HNW KPIs. Evaluate performance to targets to formulate and drive business strategies, project management and initiatives with the aim to optimise results.
• Review and ensure case management related processes (Eg. High Net Worth applications, tracking files, case updates and other related matters) are in place and operating smoothly.
• Lead the Banca / Broker Team to drive HNW sales and achieve both TWNS and NBEV budgets.
• Develop the business through engagements and trainings and ensure that Banca / Broker are well versed with the company’s value propositions and products in the market.
• Proactive to identify and develop both HNW opportunities and emerging HNW market trends.
• Actively obtain information on market gaps information and provide feedback to Head of Department.
• Support HNW product innovation and enhancement through market intelligence.
• Provide quality service and response on HNW related queries.
• Monitor and control sales activities by managing sales trend (both on-shore and off-shore), identify and resolve issues in processes and maintaining effective communication with Banca / Broker.
• Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders such as but not limiting to Case Managers, New Business Underwriting, Compliance, Customer Service to resolve issues, appeals and feedback.
• Provide regular management reports on sales performance / pipelines and business updates to the Head of Department.
• Assist Head of Department with HNW related matters.
• Ensure that relevant budgets to the Team are catered to and expenditure papers are prepared and approved.
• Ensure Team keeps audit worthiness level.
• Review SOPs related to scope of Team on an annual basis to ensure that they are updated with any changes made to processes.
