The Conference Scientific Advisor position is a full-time role based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish guidelines for company-wide events to enhance a professional image of a global academic publisher.
• Monitor the online resources to check the updates on suspicious conference organisations.
• Apply to join key authoritative organizations and advocate for MDPI events.
• Establish a scientific committee for conferences, composed of external scholars, to provide suggestions and maintain ongoing relationships through regular meetings.
• Conduct interviews with attendees, chairs, speakers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) involved in the conference, and generate content, including qualitative and quantitative analysis reports on conference-related topics.
• Provide support in resolving regional PR issues, if applicable.
• Develop strategies and propose potential solutions to enhance the growth of the conference team.
• Involve in organizing the World Sustainable Forum (https://sciforum.net/event/wsf-10).

• Under broad supervision, is recognized internally and externally as a product line subject matter expert who is knowledgeable in Technology and Operational processes
• Subject provides application expertise and any special technical data to Business Development, Application Engineering, Training, External Customers and Operations to support product and service applications globally
• Mentors to less experienced personnel
• Revises, uses, and refers users to appropriate Technical Content of Product / Services web pages on Halworld
• Reviews content for accuracy and approves revisions as needed
• Creates rich content for internal and external customers
• Responsible for responding to questions submitted to the Knowledge Base system and developing relevant articles to publish
• Reviews responses and articles of less experienced personnel
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert and Knowledge Base Editor
• Responsible for all formal communication for situations involving: Cautions and or warnings, Design/product/service changes, Required Field Action, Interim procedures and reference information using a Technology Bulletin
• Responsible for the maintenance of Operational Manuals
• Participates and champions the writing of internal and external technical papers, white papers, trade journal articles, etc.
• Reviews communication drafted by less experienced personnel
• Incorporates Reliability, Health Safety & Environment (HSE), and Quality standards into all job activities
• Job role directly impacts revenue center's viability or its quality service via personal contributions

Requirements:

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or similar discipline required, and 15+ years of experience in PSL Field Operations, Business Development, or Technology Development as it relates to field operations.

Responsibilities

· Managing all sales support responsibilities including Contracts, Relocations, Service Requests through to completion

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean only.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Prior experience with some programming languages (HTML, JAVA) will be an added advantage.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience in identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Prior experience in supporting mobile or web applications is an added advantage.
