• To assist the Workshop Supervisor in the daily running operation of the workshop.
• To managing data inputs from multiple sources.
• To perform troubleshooting of vehicles with high degree of competency.
• Ensure all work carried out comply with safety and quality requirements.
• To perform random checks on service and repairs jobs to the fulfillment of customer’s wishes.
• To generate a consistent set of monthly reports for the product management team.
• To help the management to manage the creation and updating of orderable items.
• To provide technical assistance to Foremen and Technicians.
• To provide backup support to escalated product related issues.
• Coordinate with other departments on a variety of projects.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of IT peripherals including backup & recovery
• Set-up, installation, re-installation or migration of IT peripherals
• Relocation of IT peripherals within premises
• Provide onsite support at client's premise, remote support by phone & email, and standby support. Handling clients/end-users IT related requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware & software issues
• Users profile administration
• Interface with other IT maintenance vendors for problem reporting. Place service call and follow up until the problem has been resolved.
• Installation and configuration of software according to customer standard

Requirement

• Minimum ITE / Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in IT field
• User support experience is preferred
• Basic networking support & supporting in OS platform
• Have Customer Service Skills/ Good Communication Skills/ Team Player/ Take Initiative
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment

What the day will look like

Broker Support

• Co-ordinate the technical requirements/needs of the clients and reinsurers and deliver Aon projects to reflect these.
• Build and maintain regular contact with clients and reinsurers in a proactive manner to mitigate potential risks/problems or develop opportunities.
• Initiate/review/prepare reinsurance submissions/underwriting narrative/debriefs using proprietary technical knowledge.
• Provide technical support to service reinsurance placements: assisting brokers with new business opportunities, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Update reinsurance placement activity on broker systems – processing data accurately and promptly.
• Preparing and checking contracts / endorsements / invoices.
• Work with internal departments to ensure prompt billing and timely issuance of documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to manage credit control for outstanding payments.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance.
• Communication and collaboration with clients and reinsurers: building relationships.
• Work on operational projects to improve service standards.
• Monitor revenue and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Asia Pacific and Global Facultative network to achieve objectives
• Assist in management of broker support team where necessary

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline.
• 8+ relevant re/insurance experience preferably with exposure to Facultative Reinsurance.
• Proficient with various computer systems, including (but not limited to) MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal effectively and confidently.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to make/communicate difficult decisions.
• Ability to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Job Description

- Support existing KDB+ system in production including applications running on top of the KDB+ system, perform recovery and resolution whenever there is system outage.

- Continuous improvement on the system to improve stability, monitoring and recovery.

- Participate in BCP exercise

- Document and update recovery SOP

- Deploy changes to the KDB+ system

- Data extraction

- Support data users and troubleshoot data issues

Job Requirments

- Degree in computer science or related field

- 1-3 years on KDB+ including delta control
