Cyber Security, Information & Technology Risk Management
You will be a part of an independent risk management function to protect the firm’s information technology assets, including business data, from external threats and operational risks, and to facilitate the firm’s digitalisation journey in a secure manner.

What will you do as a Cybersecurity Platform Support Engineer?
- Provide technical support to cybersecurity platforms managed by CSITR, maintaining a wide variety of devices and systems for host security, network security, data protection, identity and access management, cloud security, application security, and security operations
- Monitor for vulnerabilities, and analyse impact of patches and updates on cybersecurity platforms
- Assist in the supervision of the platform support L2 team
- Manage escalations and troubleshoot issues when they arise, liaising with vendors as needed
- Generate incident and problem management reports, reviewing procedures, analyzing root cause, and proposing any necessary enhancements
- Develop integrated security operating models and documentation to ensure operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability
- Identify and recommend process improvements in the support of existing cybersecurity platforms
- Participate in evaluations, proof-of-value/proof-of-concept, design, build and implementation of enterprise-class cybersecurity systems
- Act as a domain expert and trusted partner in CSITR, and work closely with stakeholders in Technology Group and Business Groups, on cybersecurity engineering related matters
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management industries, with minimum 7 years in Cyber Security or Information Security
- Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining cybersecurity platforms, including troubleshooting techniques and use of diagnostic tools
- Scripting and coding skills, with proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, networking concepts and protocols, principles of access rights and permissions
- Must be meticulous, versatile, and inquisitive, having strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
- Be a good team player and excellent communicator
- Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP / CISM / CEH will be advantageous
