Team Introduction
The tax system team in Tiktok helps various tax functions on tax automation and process optimization. We aim to work with the Tax Product R&D team to design and develop tax automation solutions to compile, process and deliver data in a more efficient manner, streamline the cross-functional tax process to ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide more visibility to the decision makers through data pooling and analytics.
Responsibilities
1. Acting as the APAC region contact point of the tax system team and responsible for undertaking system requirements feasibility analysis, drafting system requirement reports according to the needs and pain points of the respective tax teams in this region, assisting in building up international tax management framework for Bytedance group.
2. Closely coordinate with various system teams and stakeholders to help roll the tax system design, development, implementation and optimization progress smoothly.
3. Identify process loopholes and root causes, and design improvement plans based on current tax process analysis and historical data analysis.
4. Responsible for day-to-day communications with the respective tax teams in APAC region, including problem shooting, training and data processing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above majoring in tax, financial management or computer science.
2.Minimally 5years of related working experience in international taxes including APAC region, and have tax system project management experience.
3. Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to non-tax professionals.
4. Proficient with office software and commonly-used excel functions.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills, good at team collaboration and project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry experience in Big 4 accounting firm/Internet/TMT industry working experience.
2. Experience in an APAC regional tax role a plus.
3. Proficiency in Mandarin language will be required to bridge communication between product and R&D teams.
