General Overview

Roles and Responsiblities

The candidate shall be responsible for but not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities.

1. Develop an ‘all round’ understanding of the SLNG business model and the roles / responsibilities of the various business groups that are tasked with achieving excellent business performance and deliver operational effectiveness.
2. Liaise with all business groups and external stakeholders to build an understanding of the key IT applications and systems to provide technical, commercial and financial business solutions to fully support the efficient delivery and implementation of business processes into SLNG.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications to meet commercial obligations of the company.
4. Provide recommendations based on analysis and insights to drive process improvements, cost reduction, and system / application enhancement.
5. Collaborate with internal Information Systems team and manage external service providers engaged by SLNG to develop, procure and implement the business processes and IT applications and systems that will be required by SLNG for the effective management of SLNG’s business.
6. Contribute to the deployment of the business processes, IT applications and systems within SLNG and provide familiarization training, as required.
7. Regularly monitor the IT application and systems effectiveness in meeting end user requirements and manage any changes required.
8. Follow up with external service providers on any defects raised and track these to closure.

Work Experience

1. Candidates with 5 - 7 years in IT system implementation and support experience including exposure to Quorum’s Energy Components, SAP Finance modules will be required.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (essentially Word, Excel and Power point)
3. Active learner and ‘detail-oriented’ professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Ability to quickly develop an in-depth working knowledge of the range of SLNG business activities.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for projects delivery and application support that are related to the Finance business domain. He/she needs to work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders.

Maintenance and Support (70%)
• Provide on-going application support.

Project Management (30%)
• Accountable for the overall successful delivery of project.
• Oversees the delivery of projects to ensure that project targets are met. This includes, amongst others, conducting user requirement analysis, participating in solution design, planning and executing testing, deploying solution to ‘live’ etc.
• Creates and/or reviews project artefacts and deliverables to ensure quality and NUS guidelines and polices are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years within IT industry, inclusive of 5 years or longer in SAP S/4Hana Functional (FICO) role inclusive of systems design, functional, configuration and user support experience, and at least 3 years’ experience in project management inclusive of one complete cycle in an IT project implementation.
• In-depth knowledge with SAP S/4Hana modules FI/CO/PS/MM/Fixed Asset
• Knowledge in SAP S/4Hana modules FM/GM/Cash Management/Treasury/SD, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, SAP Concur and SAP Ariba will be an added advantage.

• Assist and summarize the monthly closing/forecast of all entities
• Preparation of the forecast, proposal of corrective actions
• Manage consolidation of monthly forecasts with preparation of detailed commentary on variances, investigation of unusual variances leading to resolution of issues
• Develop periodic management reports and presentations
• Assist with daily scheduling, appointments and meetings, and follow up on action items
• Provide administrative support to the Management
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

• Candidate shall have at least 5 years of account or business reporting experience
• Good command of English, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical and analytical thinking
• Candidate shall be proficient with MS Office and Power Point applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to anticipate the needs of the Director.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
