The Role
We are expanding our global Analyst team and seeking to recruit a Business and Credit Risk Analyst (Shipping and Commodities) for our APAC division based in our Singapore Office.

The Analyst's job is to research, conduct commercial due diligence, and prepare profile reports on companies, principally in the marine, energy, and commodities (softs and metals) sectors. The reports, which result from a range of different levels of research, are detailed structured documents outlining the registered details, history, current operations, developments, financial status, performance, and market reputation of the company in question. The key section of the report is the final assessment and rating of the company in light of the particular business proposition. Reports are frequently needed at very short notice, so you must develop the skill to work quickly and efficiently.

The position is challenging, requiring the ability to think laterally. You will need very sound commercial sense and the capacity to empathise with the client's needs. You will have to have an international outlook, an interest in current affairs, and a basic knowledge of the structure of the international industry. You are expected to be a natural and effective communicator and maintain regular contact with our clients and our Analyst teams at our UK offices and our regional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Australia.

About the team

Ledgers Engineering is a part of a growing team in Singapore that collaborates with colleagues around the world to deliver our new strategic post trade portfolio platform and build the next generation platform.

We are a fully data centric function that is responsible for managing the Books and Records for the firm. All client activities and position management are taken care by our highly scalable systems that deal with about 100 million transactions daily. The data we produce is distributed to numerous consumers for performing various business functions.

Management of ICT Application Contract and Operating Budget

• Manage ICT Application contracts to ensure the project/application vendors meet contractual obligations.
