RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and provide strategic inputs to the Head, Fraud Risk Management to shape fraud risk strategy and establish the sustainable approach & infrastructure to manage fraud risks for the country, across channels and products within the Retail Clients segment.
• Support implementation of fraud risk strategy, with the ‘best in class’s tools, analytical solutions & processes to minimize fraud losses while maintaining and adhering to customer charter goals and objectives.

• Support effective fraud risk management strategies, implementation of Fraud Risk Management framework and communication across products and channels.
• Support a proactive, independent, balanced and a fraud risk awareness culture within the organisation.
• Ensure that gross and residual fraud risks are understood and agreed with the respective business heads in the country and group.

• Support and drive standardisation, automation and consolidation through re-engineering and process improvement initiatives for the country for fraud risk management.

• Build and manage sustainable and accurate country-level fraud MIS and analytics, fraud loss reporting and regulatory reporting.

• Manage risk and control activities such as Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Residual Risk Assessment (RRA) for fraud related processes within appropriate timeframe and escalate to relevant stakeholders/ committees.

• Act quickly and decisively for fraud investigation and correction, including fraud response, investigation, recovery.
• Involve in Anti-Scam Centre (ASC) co-location related activities, including working with law enforcement agencies and other member banks to trace funds and effectively save funds for fraud & scam victims.
• Manage fraud prevention and detection activities, including client and staff continuous fraud education, training and awareness.
• Build and manage sustainable and accurate country-level fraud MIS and analytics, fraud loss reporting and regulatory reporting.

• Ensure various fraud risks are being actively prevented and detected in a timely manner on an end-to-end basis.

• Ensure that effective management response plans are in place to respond to extreme but plausible fraud scenarios in the country.
• Recommend changes to the process control environment or to business practices, where necessary, to reduce the level of fraud risk exposure to within the agreed appetite.
• Balance business performance delivery and cost management with risk and control matters to ensure that it does not materially threaten the Group, while remaining within risk appetite.

Governance

• Ensure oversight across compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws, other applicable laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
• Support in assessing the effectiveness of the governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
• Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct in the country fraud risk management team to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees forms part of the culture.
• Support for satisfactory closure of issues/ gaps arising from Internal Audits, peer reviews and regulatory reviews for the country.

Job Description:

The Business Analyst consults with business subject matter experts and technology resources to identify, prioritize, document, and manage business requirements for the relevant business team.

Scope of Work:

• Analyse and document business processes, review and validate test plans/cases, support user acceptance testing, and track/manage requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle
• Leading and facilitating requirements gathering workshops and discussions with IT and various business stakeholders (including marketing, front of house and back of house)
• Work closely with the Solution Architecture/technical team to ensure the solution covers all key use cases and that the system is extensible for future needs
• Prepare and/or review clear and comprehensive business requirement documentation including objectives, scope, current and new business processes, added value and benefit expectations
• Support budgeting, Procurement and Legal activities e.g. contracting, RFP; and
• Support QA and UAT processes through validation of test planning and execution

Key Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping and test planning
• Experience working with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Teams
• Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies and procedures
• Hands-on experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping
• Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and / or Agile, and use case modelling\
• Ability to work independently and to effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both written and verbally
