Job Requirements:

The Analyst of the Interest Rate Derivative (IRD) Business Control team will be expected to perform the following roles and responsibilities:

Perform the following Ad-Hoc & Projects tasks:
11. Streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency within the team
12. Review control processes for gaps
13. To be proficient in handling ad-hoc queries from Front Office/RMG/TMO/Finance
14. To assist in responding to internal and external audit requests for the desks


Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Accountancy or Business or Finance is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Macro Analyst/Senior Analyst/Associate PM will report to a Macro Portfolio Manager as part of a team investing across Equity and FX Volatility and Correlation with a Macro and Relative Value approach spanning Asian, European and US markets.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Working alongside Portfolio Manager whose strategy focuses primarily on Equity and FX Volatility and Correlation with a Macro and Relative Value approach spanning Asian, European and US markets
· Help manage front to back trade execution to confirmation of risk in the portfolio
· Executing and managing trades on the Portfolio Manager’s behalf
· Conducting in-depth analysis on volatility arbitrage, dispersion, correlation, relative value and global macro strategies
· Managing and expanding relationships with counterparties across all jurisdictions
· Rebalancing the portfolio periodically
· Expense management (trading cost analysis, brokerage costs, technology, etc.)
· Ad hoc analytical projects involving Excel, VBA, SQL, Python

REQUIREMENTS
· In-depth understanding of volatility and correlation products and strategies across multiple asset classes
· A Degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar
· Minimum 5 years of experience at a buy-side and/or sell-side financial firm in trading or quantitative analysis of Equity, FX and/or Rates products
· Strong analytical, programming and modelling skills
· Strong passion for the global markets and strategies
· Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: R, SQL, C++, Matlab, Python. Python is preferable.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the Enterprise Analytics delivery team, the position will be responsible for the delivery of Enterprise Technology solutions, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation of agreed functional capability
• Good business domain knowledge in Enterprise Analytics
• Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical and functional dependencies of the solution
• Collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements
• Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)/ Program Manager on functional deliveries

Key Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• Good track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility
• Working closely with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while taking into account business, technical and delivery constraints
