· Managing all aspects of the project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget and meet all contractual requirements

· Lead and manage the project team

· Able to interpret the Contract and extract all essential information with the project team for the efficient and effective management of the project to meet its objectives

· Identify all contractual system requirements and all other deliverables and responsible for managing system designs, reviews and all deliverables

· Analyze and define all project materials and service purchases based on cost optimization and appropriate risk management

• Perform day to day coordination, risk management, liaison, control and supervision of resources including all project team members, sub-contractors, internal and external project related parties and customers to ensure that the project meets its objectives

· Conduct External and Internal Design Reviews and Project Management Review with Customer and project stakeholders

• Provide regular project reports/updates to customers, internal departments and management
• Monitor all payment milestones to ensure timely billing in accordance to the planned scheduled
• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
• Work with pre sales and solution team in cost and efforts estimation during project tendering phase

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in InfoComm Technology
• Experience in Maritime Communication Systems is preferred
• Sound knowledge of project planning, accounting and reporting tools
• Able to work in shipyard and shipboard environment
• Ability to innovate and adapt to fast and dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
• Ability to work independently and in team setting
• PMP certification would be an advantage

GENERAL MISSION

The Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and support of staff to ensure efficient operation of the Engineering Department. Responsibilities include the general maintenance of equipment and plant rooms, preventative maintenance, inventory documentation, energy monitoring, purchasing and receiving, and undertaking audits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lock smiting and painting work to maintain municipal buildings.
• Oversee all maintenance and repair of HVAC systems in City buildings.
• Perform routine HVAC system preventative maintenance work; determine HVAC system problems and make recommendations for repair.
• Review and evaluate the quality of HVAC contract vendor work.
• Move and relocate office furniture; make adjustments to desks, chairs and files.
• Oversee roof maintenance program; inspect condition of roofs; clean roof gutters and drains.
• Oversee parking lot light program; install and repair lamps, ballasts and covers.
• Repair locking systems on doors, files, cabinets and lockers.
• Oversee building maintenance contract and service work; process and contract out repair
• requests.
• Travel from site to site; inspect facilities, buildings and grounds for routine maintenance; prioritize repairs and renovations.
• Ensure facilities and buildings are in compliance with Singapore Authority guidelines and safety regulations.
• Participate in the preparation of the building maintenance budget
• Monitor budget expenditures.
• Requisition building maintenance supplies, material and equipment; monitor inventory; load and unload supplies.
• Prepare cost estimates for maintenance activities; maintain maintenance records and files.
• Load and deliver tables and chairs to special events.
• Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner and provide information within the area of assignment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Attained at least a NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Aircon Maintenance, or an equivalent vocational qualification
• Knowledge of building mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance related technical skills
• Willingness to perform shifts

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.

• Provide technical hands-on to troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and systems/hardware related issues.

• Support warranty and support activities including preventive maintenance patching, reactive remediation for vulnerability scan and firmware updates for systems devices.

• Liaise with 3rd party vendors/IT providers for support and problem resolution.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.

• Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure they are aligned with customers’ security policies, guidelines and SOP (standard operating procedure).

• Prepare for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of customers as part of the post sales process.

• Handle customers’ change request and follow through the change control processes.

• Prepare and maintain assets to ensure availability and update of capacity reports.

• Prepare and update technical documentations including SOP, system documents, deployment test plans, capacity reports and incident reports

• Analyze helpdesk (Level 1 support) / via phone or email requests promptly and provide solutions, follow-up on helpdesk for technical support and provide 2nd and 3rd level support.

• Understand customer’s production support challenges, recommends solutions to meet their needs, and ensures high level of customer's satisfaction.

• Stay abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with distributors/vendors on an on-going basis to stay current.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Systems or a related subject

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows based environments including Active Directory and MSSQL database

• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box) is a must

• Proficient in maintenance support operations including security patch/fix management and contingency/DR planning.

• Experience in network / system management and deployment tools.

• Hands on experience supporting established products such as Lenovo, Dell, HP, Pure Storage, Veam, Veritas, Vsphere etc.

• Certificate in ITIL is preferred.

• Good understanding of a services business in a high-tech environment from a supplier, integrator or operator’s perspective with broad awareness of industry technical architecture, emerging technologies and best practices with sufficient knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with ability to provide quick resolution to problems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship building skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on 24/7 standby and under tight schedule / pressure.

• Ability to write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks is a plus.

• Experience in managing systems in Cloud environment (eg AWS, Azure) is a plus.
