JOB CONTENT (PRIMARY & SECONDARY FUNCTIONS):

It is the responsibility of the FAEs to carry out the following:

Primary Functions

• Represent Future’s interest at all technical levels and offer a level of support required by Future’s customers to ensure that Future’s customers clearly identify Future with the projects undertaken, thus increasing the probability of Future winning the identified opportunity.
• FAEs are required to work together with Future’s Sales, Product Marketing Department and Suppliers, to establish which products are best suited to Future’s customer base and also which target markets to address. Having identified such products and markets, the FAEs are to promote by way of application examples, demonstration and/or design-in, putting the identified products to Future’s customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information on the Technical database (CRM), allowing all opportunities to be tracked to a successful conclusion.
• Perform associative selling by designing in as many devices as possible for the particular design; so as to capture the most component within the BOM list.

Secondary Functions

• Assist in the maintenance of manufacturer’s design registration schemes, thus helping to secure Future’s commercial position within its customer base and ensuring eligibility for any design incentive bonuses.
• Train Future’s sales force and product marketing to provide technical product & application knowledge.

CREDENTIALS:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum requirements: Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge and technical competency with devices in the specific group of responsibility (Analog & Linear, Micro-controller, Power Discreet & Design).

EXPERIENCES

• At least 2 years design experience with products in his/her product specialization category.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer at Ikano Retail.  Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, administration, and Level 2 (L2) support of the company's IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in supporting IT infrastructure improvement and establishment projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Your assignment

• Infrastructure Administration and Support: Administer, configure, and support IT data center infrastructure, network, cloud, and EUC infrastructure, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
• Server and Storage Management: Configure and administer Dell Servers & Storage, ensuring their smooth operation and efficient utilization within the IT environment.
• Virtualization and Cloud Administration: Manage VMWARE, VEEAM, and Azure Cloud administration, overseeing virtualized environments and cloud-based services to support business operations.
• Endpoint Management: Administer Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory, SCCM, and Sophos AntiVirus, ensuring the security and functionality of endpoint devices.
• IT Infrastructure Tools Management: Manage IT infrastructure tools such as Manage Engine AD management, VEEAM/EMC Networker, and Microsoft Sentinel, ensuring their effective utilization in IT operations. Maintain updated security patches and network devices firmware.
• Network Infrastructure Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot Cisco core switches, wireless controllers, and Cisco ISE, ensuring the stability and security of network infrastructure.
• Firewall Policy Management: Fine-tune and configure firewall policies, implementing security measures to protect the company's network infrastructure from unauthorized access and threats.
• Vendor Coordination and Support: Coordinate support with principal IT infrastructure vendors, Inter-IKEA infra teams, and solution partners, ensuring timely resolution of IT infrastructure issues.
• Incident Resolution and User Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve IT infrastructure Level 2 support incidents, change management, and service requests, providing efficient and effective solutions to users.
• Audit and Compliance Support: Support IT infrastructure-related audit, compliance, and security reviews and assessments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Standardization and Process Improvement: Support and coordinate with IT Infra Specialists to strengthen and standardize infrastructure architecture design, delivery, and operational processes, promoting efficiency and consistency. Maintain inventory records of IT infrastructure hardware with associated software licenses and support contracts, and support system and data backup and recovery procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of business data and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Organised, independent and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment and adhere to organisational process and governance.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant IT experience in deploying and managing application and services on cloud, including the design, development, implementation and/or management of the solution.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS cloud services
• Good knowledge in security
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in security concepts related to infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerisation.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as Security Information and Events Management, Data Loss Prevention, Database Activity Monitoring, Data Security and Protection, Privileged Access Management, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevent etc

• Experience managing data engineering jobs in big data environment e.g., Cloudera Data Platform
• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing solutions encompassing both hardware and firmware for target applications identified by the Design Center.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The main design direction of the Design team is focused on machine learning and communications, with the goal of creating reference designs that allow Futures’ customers to implement their own systems at a second level.

By specializing in these areas, the Design Engineers can leverage their design experience and training to provide valuable support and add value to the customer's design process.

While the Design Engineers will not directly interface with all of Future's customers, the Technical Sales Manager (TSM) will take the lead in engaging with customers, while the Design Engineers will provide backend support.

It is the responsibility of the Design Engineer to carry out the following:

Primary Functions

· Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller.

· Drive technology/development projects in all phrases from specification to release.

· Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.

· Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.

· Define and create product software specification including software architecture, feature descriptions and applications notes of the system.
