As a regional bank representing Ehime area in Japan, The Iyo Bank, Ltd. Singapore Branch has been supporting Japanese companies in their investment and business expansion in Singapore. We are currently looking for someone who can support Singapore companies' business expansion and investment in Ehime area (Go to Japan) and Japanese companies' business expansion and investment in Singapore (Go to Singapore) in terms of marketing and business consultation.
To provide practical business consulting services to Japanese companies that are considering entering the Singapore market, by conducting market research and collaborating with Embasst of Japan, JETRO, CLAIR, JNTO as well as local partner firms.
- Competitor research and market research of Singapore market
- Business matching support between Singapore companies and Japanese companies
- Advice in obtaining support (such as subsidiaries) provided by the Singapore government to inbound invesetment
To provide practical business consulting services to Singapore companies that are considering entering the Japanese market, based on knowledge of Japanese consumers, local market and competitors, and in collaboration with partner companies.
This includes the following;
- Competitor research and market research of Japanese market
- Business matching support between Singapore companies and Japanese companies
- Advice in obtaining support (such as subsidiaries) provided by the Japanese government and local authorities to inbound invesetment
- Advice and practical support for obtaining product licenses and exporting products to Japan
To plan and arramge inspection tours and exhibitions to promote the investment and business expansion of Japanese local authorities and companies in Singapore.
<Job Requirements>
・2 years+ of experience planning and execution of marketing and PR campaigns as project manager. Successful candidate is expected to possess experience in handling local food / traditional products for overseas market expansion
・2 years+ of overseas corporate sales, primarily engaged in domain of sourcing for new overseas clients/partners, or 2 years+ experience as consultant supporting clients' cross-border business matching and negotiation. Experience and skills in sales, promotion and negotiation to senior management of clients companies is required in order to lead business matching between top management of Singapore and Japanese companies
・Experience of dealing with local government in the domain of investment or business support on medium-small entities. Successful candidate is required to have a past experience directly dealing with Japanese government and/or Japanese local authorities and be knowledgeable in their communication flow and decision making process
・Knowledge of the trading of goods between Singapore and Japan
・Knowledge of support on inbound investment provided by the Japanese government and local governments would be an advantage
