The Role

• Support the post-mortem review of STRs filed in the past.
• Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address FCP risks, provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to issues identified, and prepare reports of compliance testing findings for senior management.
• Develop and draft compliance testing reports summarizing design review and testing results and remediation efforts required by line management to address open issues.

Requirement

• University degree or international equivalent, with a focus in a finance or internal audit related fields.

General Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. As a Analyst (Costing), you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on the company's segment P&L. Costing and Management Reporting Functions

• Develop life cycle costing for new product unit cost and at business unit level, including establishing standard costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and record Chief Engineers performance, as described in prevailing company documents, and vessel management in close cooperation with the crewing team. Master performance to provide input to Marine Superintendent.
• Closely monitor guarantee defects, liaise with yards for successful claims and ensure repairs are closed out effectively.
• Develop, monitor and control running cost budgets in accordance with company procedures, goals and applicable KPIs.
• Implement procedures laid out in the company quality manuals and other instructions as issued by management including updating records, drawings, manuals etc in accordance with applicable Management of Change routines.

• Experience in DAX, M query, SQL, stored procedures, database/data processing concepts, data modeling, reports, and dashboard development

• In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and developing a flexible & and scalable BI model that can cater to business reporting needs

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and evaluate the credit ratings of borrowers, provide credit evaluation reports and support decision-making.

2. Conduct risk analysis and evaluation of the market and industry, formulate corresponding risk management and control strategies.

3. Analyse and mine business data, provide data support and recommendations for risk control decisions.

4. Collaborate with model teams to develop and optimise risk models based on company risk strategy and business needs, improve risk assessment accuracy.

5. Monitor and evaluate risk assessment models, formulate and implement risk management measures to improve risk control effectiveness.

6. Collaborate with business teams, data teams, and technical teams to solve risk control problems in a timely manner.

Job specifications:

1. More than 3 years of relevant work experience, bachelor's degree or above in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related majors.

2. Experience with credit card-related businesses, bank, or Fintech companies is preferred.

3. Proficient in using Python, R, SQL, or SAS for analysis.

4. Strong self-learning ability, solid communication skills and teamwork.

5. Experience with credit risk management, such as credit granting strategy, anti-fraud, modelling, mid-loan monitoring, and post-loan monitoring.
