• Assist in the management and maintenance of the site in accordance with the contractual requirements and standards set by the Client.
• Carry out daily routine works in the shopping mall including conducting inspections to ensure that all building installations and equipment are maintained according to schedule and are in good working condition.
• Carry out work plans and programmes in accordance with Client’s guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and statutory requirements and attend to feedback, complaints and services as requested by the Client.
• Oversee works/services and ensure that services are delivered on time and according to Client’s requirements.
• Supervise and manage contractors on the scheduled maintenance of various functions and systems within the building premises.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Building/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in maintaining commercial buildings.
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
• Good team worker with service-orientated mindset.
• Possess Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be preferred.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
• Working schedules: 44-hrs work week

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to all health and safety policies
• Ensure that Contractor and their subcontractors comply with LTA’s PPE requirements and safety checklists are followed
• Report to SRE/RE of any incident including near-misses
• Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance to all plans/drawings, method of statements / Risk Assessment and specifications
• Report any non-compliance to RE and QPS
• Reject poor quality and inform RE to raise non-conformance notice
• Assist RE to manage and maintain records of field changes
• Assist RE to monitor adherence to construction schedule
• Prepare daily/shift progress reports and any other reports, as per LTA requirements
• Verify contractor’s daily manpower and resource log
• Report to RE of daily site activities and progress
• Attend daily toolbox meetings, PGIs, site construction workshops and any other meetings as requested by RE
• To assist RE in maintaining all documents and to update the site changes
• Immediately inform LTA on issuing stop work for any non-compliance on safety and quality related matters
• Standing supervision to be carried out for critical site activities based

Requirements:

• The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) shall have minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the Works in the LTA’s Civil Contract.
• Experience in the following areas will be additional advantage:

1. supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.
2. Supervision of pipe roofing using micro tunnelling or underground mining.
3. Concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to the production of high quality precast concrete products.

The RTO shall have a Diploma in the civil / structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

RTO shall be stationed full-time on site.

Internal

i. Responsible for “Profit & Loss” of assigned capital projects.

ii. Provide cash flow forecasts and costs budgets for assigned capital

projects.

iii. Preparation & submission of monthly contract review summary.

Customers

i. Liaison with the customer’s representative(s) for all matters related to

project.

ii. Preparation of contract agreements as and when necessary.

iii. Preparation of project schedule and ensure that project milestones are

met.

Suppliers

i. Liaison with the supplier’s representative(s) for all matters related to subcontract.

ii. Preparation of purchase order checks, price negotiation and contract

agreements to suppliers. Ensure deliveries are timely and in accordance

to specifications.

• Salary for experience candidates will be considered based on the years of experience and our internal salary structure
