Title: Reporting Analyst (18 to 24 months contract role)
Our client is a prominent and global player in the business services industry. There is now a need for the business to hire an experienced finance professional to be part of their finance team as a Reporting Analyst.
Responsibilities:
· Produce monthly financial reports for measuring Group financial performance, including but not limited to Group monthly financials and forecasts.
· Carry out analysis of Group performance & identify possible issues throughout the month – in liaison with the Management Reporting team.
· Perform data quality checks to ensure the integrity of reports published.
· Support the Group's annual budgeting activities including establishing targets, providing guidance and working closely with the respective corporate departments and the Management Reporting and Budget Manager as well as internal budget focals.
· Assist in the design of new business reports, ongoing improvements, and re-engineering of existing reports to support the business needs.
· Coordinate the monthly P/L and cashflow forecast for the organisation.
· Assist with the monitoring and forecasting of Group performance, reporting KPIs/KRIs, providing variance analysis with appropriate commentary, and challenging the business or Finance internally as appropriate.
· Provide subject matter expertise to the business stakeholders, finance, and project teams.
· Work closely with the business finance and corporate accounting teams to ensure the accuracy of numbers for management reporting.
· Provide ad hoc business modelling and analysis of projects and proposals.
· Assist in producing decision support analysis/assignment as requested by management.

Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, or related field
· Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of financial planning, reporting and analysis (FPR&A) related work experience ideally in large global MNCs in a global or regional reporting environment/structure.
· Demonstrate solid business analysis capability, data analysis and information management maintenance.
· Possess work experience and strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables) along with PowerPoint and Word.
· Candidates with knowledge of advance excel (i.e. advance formulas) and financial modelling will have an advantage.
· Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.
· Be hands-on and have exposure to large ERPs such as Oracle and SAP
· Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Hyperion Enterprise, Essbase and TM1 will be an advantage.
