• Initiate / participate in projects relating to cost reduction. These types of projects will relate to man, method, machine, and materials.
• Possess excellent project management skills by establishing schedules, required resources (both within the organization or 3rd party), and cost of projects and risks identification to implement and execute the required projects.
• Ability to create excellent customer supplier relationship. The ability to build good relationship is to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Key Performance indicators are the results and prompt project schedule control.

Continuous Improvement

• Initiate and lead projects relating to improvement activities in cell efficiency, module power, quality or reliability.
• To run and execute projects base on RPDM process flow.
• Engineer will have the chance to research on new processes and materials to be implemented into the production environment.

Process Integration activities

• Perform qualification and data analysis on new process / material improvements for enhancing cell efficiency, module power and module reliability.
• Ensure product reliability while new changes are implemented.
• Improve the current system to improve process stability and control.

Others

• Need to establish good working relationship with cross functional teams and provide necessary support.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the degree of difficulties and involvement of the specific targets set in the department.
• Depending on the competencies developed, will be required to be rotated to different departments as required by management.

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Materials / Chemical Engineering.
• Prior working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries is advantageous.
• Ability to use software such as Excel / JMP for data mining and analysis will be advantageous.
• Knowledge in electrical characterization and physical characterization / failure analysis tools for systematic troubleshooting and improvement will be preferred.
• Knowledge in Semiconductor/Solar cell and module processes.
• Strong knowledge and experience in process integration & development methods
• Knowledge in PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, Fish-Bone Analysis.
• Strong technical analysis competency with the use of analytical tools like JMP, Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and data-mining.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work under stress.
• Strong organization and project management skills.

We are looking for a Solar Project Engineer who is passionate about deploying solar energy in Singapore. The successful candidate will be in charge of executing solar projects on roof tops all across Singapore and the region.

Job Requirement

• Design, build and install solar energy systems
• Onsite planning and managing of installation teams
• Contact point between the company and client during construction stage
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Hands on implementation on site
• Design the full construction from pre to post-construction and handover of the system to the client
• Complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget
• Identify any potential safety risks within projects and putting in place strategies to mitigate any risks
• Ensure all required Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are met.
• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

Skills and Competencies
