This growth in QR code payments in not isolated in the Asia Pacific region. It is picking pace globally and, the trend is expected to continue in the coming years.

Visa is establishing it’s Centre of Excellence in Singapore which will spearhead Visa’s QR participation in this growing trend. A dedicated team will provide strategic direction, thought leadership, product and execution support, best practices, and oversight for QR based payment for Visa. While Asia Pacific region will be its operating and learning ground, the remit of this Center of Excellence will be global. Job Description

• To assist Engineering Manager to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• To be competent to set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, including, but not limited to HD Video, UHD Video, Audio and Communication Equipment.
• To be competent in the use of Radio Frequency Equipment and antenna systems
• To be able to troubleshoot broadcasting equipment to a system level and able to communicate and report to the office and manufacturer for problem solving.
• To undertake project work from site surveys to delivering in a professional and timely manner.
• To assist in keeping equipment updated with the manufacturers latest software releases.
• To be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and systems to the required safety and technical standards with minimum disruption to operational activities.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by NEP Singapore that have not been experienced or worked with before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To work safely at all times, complying with statutory safety requirements from NEP Singapore Health and Safety Policies.
• To be able to draft technical reports of field work.
• To be competent in reading and designing of the engineering workflow.
• Prepare technical documents for the preparation of projects and amend as necessary throughout the life of the project
• Attend technical meetings for the projects when is necessary.
• To be flexible with work time and travel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in broadcast television. Preferably with direct experience of working in an Outside Broadcast environment.
• Familiar with the operation and programming of Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers, etc
• Familiar with the setup and integration of cameras, lenses, ccu’s etc.
• Experience with EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director
• Relevant engineering qualifications or a proven track record
• An understanding of radio, television, and the associated transmission and carrier systems.
• Understanding of computers, servers, IT systems and networks.
• A keen interest in broadcast technology, its development and application in the region.
• Knowledge of Cisco Switches and IP technology an advantage.

Cyber Security Engineer

Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s cybersecurity posture on an ongoing basis. S/he will work with external experts to implement security solutions, and work with vendors to monitor, detect and contain cybersecurity incidents to minimize impact to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and development of security framework, information security policies, processes / procedures and guidelines on an ongoing basis
• Work with vendor to conduct security assessments and penetration tests.
• Identify security gaps, perform threat risk assessments in current setup and propose mitigating measures.
• Standardize and refine security incident response and escalation processes.
• Mitigate and contain threats when detected.
• Escalate security incidents and non-compliances on a timely basis.
• Work with IT infrastructure team to evaluate, implement and enhance the network perimeter security, endpoint security, SIEM, secured remote access, MFA, Identity Access Management and Privileged Access Management.
• Monitor information security alerts triage, mitigate, and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide security advisory to end users on regular basis.
• IT Security Management of various aspect, e.g. network security, server security, application security, end point security, email security, physical access security, logical access security, etc.
• Keep abreast of industrial IT security advancements and introduce appropriate security enhancements to IT infrastructure and systems.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent education.
• At least 5 years of related work experience in cybersecurity management and security governance.
• Good working knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit / log review), technical vulnerability management (vulnerability assessment, penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening,
  IDS/IPD, firewall), security incident response and security assessment.
• Strong understanding of ISO27001 standard.
• Hands-on experience at least 4 of the following IT Security Tools:
  a. Next Generation Firewall (e.g., FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco FirePower)
  b. SASE (Zscaler, Netskope, Skyhigh)
  c. Tenable Security Center Continuous View
  d. Endpoint Protection (e.g., Symantec, Trend Micro, Sophos Endpoint)
  e. Email Security (e.g., Mimecast, ProofPoint, Cisco Email Security)
  f. Data Loss Prevention (e.g., Symantec, ForcePoint, Digital Guardian)

• Experience in handling SG govt network security projects is an advantage.
• Strong sense of customer service and team efficiency;
• Able to provide non-office hours standby and support service;
