• Monitor, operate, and maintain cement plant machinery, including crushers, kilns, mills, and packing units, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, plant operating procedures, and environmental regulations. Report any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Work with process engineers and plant supervisors to optimize production processes and improve yield and energy efficiency.
• Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for any maintenance or repair jobs.
• Record, analyze, and report operational data, including machinery performance, production rates, and quality control results, to assist with performance reviews and decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to resolve technical issues and support plant improvements.

Job Description:

· Be a team member of L2 production support team located across Singapore and India to ensure 24 * 7 production support for the APAC region.

· Provide application production support for Cash Management systems within Asia Pacific.

· Independently debug and propose resolution/work-around for complex production issues.

· Ensure root cause analysis is performed where necessary and manage resulting action items to completion.

· Coordinate across various teams to effectively manage production issues and maintenance activities.

· Respond to user requests, incidents and follow up on problems in a timely manner.

· Ensure issues are reported, tracked, followed up and escalated timely.

· Coordinate and follow up with Application teams to ensure the permanent fix is prioritized, planned and delivered.

· Communicate and provide status updates on issues to business users, management team and other stakeholders.

· Plan and Support Disaster Recovery Test and Business Continuity activities.

And any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Technical Skills

· Strong experience in and preference for application production support.

· Strong technical background in web based applications support on JAVA/J2EE/TIBCO platform and/or COBOL platform.

· Extensive experience in supporting payments, local clearing applications and payment filtering and AML in APAC region.

· JAVA/J2EE, Websphere/Tomcat/JBOSS, ORACLE PL/SQL, COBOL, UNIX / LINUX /WINDOWS skills i.e. navigating, scripting etc

Functional

· Strong understanding of payments, local clearing systems, H2H concept and applications, reporting.

· Strong understanding of stop list filtering, AML, social engineering etc.

· Working grasp of double posting accounting treatment.

· Understanding and experience in ITIL concepts.

• Answer customer inquiries.
• Prepare proposals for product solutions.
• Connect daily with customers by phone and email.
• Serve as main contact for technical help.
• Support tracking and reporting of quote activities.

Requirements:
