The job-holder is responsible to provide a safe and clean environment for the surgical patient.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure operational readiness of OT equipment
• Check the suction and diathermy machines for cleanliness and good working order
• Check operating lights for clarity and good functioning
• Clean, check and prepare operating table and accessories
• Perform daily inventory check on positioning aids and accessories
• Routine cleaning of OT equipment e.g. tourniquet, light source etc
• Assist to ensure efficient turnover of daily elective and emergency operations in the operating room
• Transport patient from the ward to OT and vice versa
• Assist in the safe transfer of patient from trolley to operating table and vice versa
• Assist in positioning the patient
• Assist surgeon in application of tourniquet
• Adjust and focus the operating lights and assist nurses in patient care
• To stay in the OR to assist the surgical team when needed, eg. Change the suction liner, additional adhoc equipment needed etc
• Perform cleaning of the OR in between cases within 15mins. (Turnaround time target)
• Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment
• Ensure that the disposable suction liner is capped tightly before discarding into the biohazard bag.
• Perform OT terminal cleaning at the end of the list or after infected cases as stated in the protocol.
• Maintain proper daily housekeeping of OT suite which include operating room, prep-room, scrub room, Anaesthesia room and sluice room.
• Clear soiled linen and surgical wastes to the dirty utility room after the next case had started or when time permits.
• Other job duties such as maintaining proper housekeeping of pantry after 6pm.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

About The Role

Purpose of the Maintenance Technician (Instrument) is to carry out hands-on maintenance and coordinates maintenance work related to instrumentation in the Production Unit (PU). The role assures that activities on the weekly schedule, emergencies or assigned non routine maintenance work are executed with quality and efficiency and in compliance to the site Health, Safety and Environment requirements

Accountabilities

1.Provide day-to-day hands-on maintenance/troubleshooting to instrument related matters in PU.

2.Ensure compliance of engineering practices and assets with statutory obligations, Engineering Codes of Practices and Shell DEP standards.

3.Review and communicate daily / weekly schedule assignments with workforce. Plan / execute / obtain resources, materials, services, and equipment for E and SB priority work repairs.

4.Ensure compliance with HSSE standards Monitor and feedback on the maintenance effectiveness process and take corrective action if required GSAP administration of time sheets, service, purchase, and material orders. Lead in the timely daily maintenance schedule execution, E/SB work order planning, E/SB reviews, daily updates

5.Liaise with/consults Operations, Technology, other Engineering and Procurement departments as part of the execution of jobs

6.Initiate and plan to upgrade instrument systems before obsolescence and deteriorations beyond repair.

7.Perform end of day schedule progress (percent complete, MCMP, TECO and approve actual hours)

8.Ensure completion of QA / QC and condition reports. Field presence and supervisor of maintenance contractor (craft productivity and quality of work) for effective and efficient execution

9.Manage the activities in the hard schedule, adopting small adjustments or deviations where necessary. Feedback jobs that roll-over into next week(s) to the scheduler Identify risks for not achieving schedule and taking mitigating action, keeping maintenance supervisor / team lead informed. Feedback to maintenance planning and scheduling

10.Timely request to operations for maintenance permitting. Analyze and trouble-shoot instrumentation problems

What We Need From You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum NITEC Level 2 certification in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical, or Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Instrument construction/ Maintenance in oil & gas, chemical/ petrochemical or related industries.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment. Provides general assistance in the maintenance of the company’s plant, machinery, building and associated facilities. The role will require knowledge of audio visual equipment, networking as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Core Responsibilities: •

System configuration, Testing & Commissioning of Integrated Audio Visual and Videoconferencing solution.

Work with clients to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to audio visual equipment.

Conduct end user trainings to end users on how to use the Solution(s) implemented.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both hardware and software, when required;

Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of audio visual equipment.

Attend to service calls related to equipment breakdown;

Ensure production and updating of documentation such as user guides & etc;

Perform preventive maintenance on audio visual equipment to minimize downtime and extend the life of the equipment.

Stay up-to-date on new audio visual technologies and products and recommend upgrades or improvements to existing systems.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Work closely with Engineers from different manufactures like Extron, Crestron, Logitech, etc to implement full integrated solutions for venues like meeting room, lecture room, experience centre, command centre, auditorium, ballroom, etc

Study the schematic drawings to understand the technical & functional requirements to implement each solution

Education Qualification:

ITE/ Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual

Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills for AV devices

Experience with data networking setup and configuration.

Good communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform aircon servicing
• Perform repair / installation / replacement of aircon unit
• Attend to Ad-hoc after service matters
• Liaise with Coordinator / Supervisor on job matters and update them on issues, if any.
• Collect payment after every services
• Propose / advise customers on their aircon issue. E.g. Service Contracts / Repairs / Replacement of system
• Responsible for the company van and property
• Willing to take on new job scope if needed
• Other ad-hoc job as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Preferably experienced air con technicians has an advantage.
• Preferably with class 3 driving license.
• Able to work in a team, with good communication skills, work under pressure.
• Able to start work immediately.
