General Description

The Executive – Procurement supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/She performs forecasting, material planning and procurement functions in line with regulatory requirements, and supports vendor management based on established supplier selection processes and criteria. Job Responsibilities

• Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs in accordance to company’s ESG guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Contribute to sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers for renewable hybrid power plants components to meet project/business needs.

· Preparation of purchase orders and liaising with suppliers for order enquiry and delivery schedule monitoring.

· Work closely with the suppliers and the Finance Department on the Account Payable to ensure smooth purchase and delivery.

· Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment and delivery arrangement and active monitoring of shipment status to ensure timely delivery.

· Maintain and update contractor/supplier/forwarder information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc., and updating of approved vendor list.

Competences & Capabilities

The candidate would possess the following capabilities and qualifications:

· Minimum of NITEC or Diploma in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management;

· Entry-Level or at least 1-2 years of experience in the related field will be an advantage;
