Chatraise Singapore is looking for a dynamic Logistic Operations Executive (Japanese speaking)

Job Description

· Liaise with Japan HQ, Logistic partners and Warehouse team on inventory management

· Responsible for inventory turns, inventory fulfilment and inventory obsolescence minimization.

· Coordinate the various functions within the organisation in order to deliver maximum efficiency of product flow.

· Maintain knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, actions can be recommended where necessary to execute healthy inventory

· Key person-in-charge for stock control and administrative coordination with warehouse

· Provision of various reports for the purposes of corporate decision making

· Provide Japanese to English/English to Japanese translation of the conversation between Japanese management and local staff when required.

· Support Corporate, retail and admin related duties

· Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Purchasing/Logistics or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics function

· Physically fit and able to work in cold room an advantage

· Excellent telephone etiquette, good written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Fluent in Japanese language (preferably JLPT1 speaking/writing) to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese clients

· 5.5 days/week. Mon - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm; Sat 7.30am - 11.30am

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle & process of sales orders based on customer’s requirements
• Coordinates Logistics Operation, arrange inventory allocation, monitor and ensure all orders are duly delivered to customer within a stipulated operation turnaround time
• Liaise on product availability with overseas counterparts, planners, shipment arrangement with 3rd PL, warehouse and customers
• Maximise space utilization for all shipments
• Coordinate claims processing and shipment tracking
• Maintain the required operations turnaround time and provide supporting documents for accurate and timely customer billing
• Receive customer’s complaints or problems, coordinate clients wish and requirements with respective internal departments or 3rd Party Logistics Service providers and finally provide timely proposals and solutions to customers
• Maintain good relationship with customers by ensuring supply reliability
• Perform data updates into logistics to support operation
• Perform Consolidation of orders for Trading Goods
• Back-up fellow team members and provide guidance to lesser experienced members
• Propose operational improvement if any
• Provides clerical or administrative support such as filing and documentation processing
• Performs monthly Stock and Order reconciliation and any other documentation required for month end operation
• Support in Cross-departmental Audits and Documentations relating to Audit Compliance
• Ad-hoc duties (including non-logistics related duties)

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in any fields
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience
• Skilled in SAP/ERP SD and MM modules is an advantage
• ISO9001 Internal Audit Certification preferred
