Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Load and unload food cargo. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods. Sorted items to be delivered according to the delivery route. Obtained signatures and payments, or arrange for recipients to make payments. Recording information, such as items received and delivered and recipient responses to messages.

What the role involves:

1. Handle ocean import process (communicate with customer, data entry, raise payment voucher, arrange transportation)
2. Arrange payments with Carrier / Co-loader upon receipt of Arrival Notices from Carriers / Co-loaders.
3. Process / input data of incoming shipments in Yunas system.
4. Sending Arrival Notice to customers, and liaise for clearance and delivery instructions
5. Arrange for insurance coverage in required by customers
6. Arrange clearance documents and liaise with transporters for delivery arrangement
7. Follow-up on the arrival of shipment, and delivery process
8. Liaise with customers / carriers / co-loaders if there is any discrepancy to the cargoes upon clearance
9. Raise invoices and dispatch to customer, and follow-up with customers if there is any discrepancy
10. Extract data for simple report (Excel) if required by customers

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

1. Minimum O level and above
2. 1 Year of Experience preferably in freight forwarding or shipping.
3. Good communication skill and a team player with positive working attitude

· Ensure the quality and quantity of food/ logistics items before delivery.

· Loading/ unloading catering items into/ off the assigned vehicle.

· Deliver catering items, set-up and dismantle catering buffet at various locations according to standard procedures.

· Communicate with customers on the set-up requirements and related enquires with patience and professional manner.

· Enhance the buffet set-up by using different decorations/ props when necessary.

· Ensure the cleanliness and condition of assigned vehicle.

· Perform food safety, work safety and road safety rules and policies at all times.

· Cooperate and communicate with other departments for any necessary arrangement/ issues regarding customers’ orders.
