About the role

As a Robotics & Automation Intern, you will explore and develop new logistics technology through Robotics and Automation. Responsibilities:

• Assiting in all administration and logistics duties such as marketing logistics, inventory and watch boxes
• Ensure that items are prepared for third party collection or delivery
• Coordinating with Logistics forwarders on receiveing of cargo and perform stock count according to movement
• Ensure all inventories are properly monitored and reconciled
• Ensure all shipments are properly checked against shipment invoices and to follow up with HQ if necessary
• Ensure quality control on shipments according to company guidelines and standards
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma qualifications in Logistics related field
• Prior experience in related logistics field
• Must be physically fit to carry items

Job Description:

• Monitor productivity and allocate resources accordingly
• Reviews day to day operational reports to manage productivity and performance.
• Collaborates with internal customers to ensure loads are processed on-time according to service commitments. Reviews daily operational reports to manage productivity, performance, and service. Conduct trainings, observation and meeting.
• Monitoring retrieve and tender cargo from/to agents at the airport cargo terminals.
• Sort incoming/outgoing packages and splitting packages to X-ray machines, including retrieval of packages that required further inspection.
• Submit booking for import CC flight for next day retrieval. ULDs planning for import / export.
• Follow-up on internal and external requires.
• Customs endorsement of CIDBC form at checkpoint during weekend.
• Ad hoc other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Manage all delivery scheduling functions for assigned store (s)
2. Utilize system information and reports to identify deliverable orders
3. Contact customer to schedule deliveries for all items that are currently available and in the warehouse
4. Maintain delivery schedules based on outlined route list
5. Maximize delivery trucks and routes based on schedules and ensure that delivery goals are met
6. Run scheduling reports to ensure that the budgeted goal for deliveries is being met
7. Suggest and participate in developing “special” routes to satisfy out-of-area customer deliveries
8. Work closely with receiving specialist and inventory specialist on reschedules and product availability
9. Call customers in advance of the actual delivery with three-hour delivery windows. Perform delivery confirmation telephone calls to customers Co-ordinating within internal department for changes in customers’ order
10. Any ad-hoc admin duties

Requirements:

~ Min ‘O’ Level.

~ Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience.

~ Hardworking, meticulous and able to work independently.

~ Responsible & fast learner

~ Proficient in MS Office skills (Words & Excel)

~ Knowledge in ERP Software will be an added advantage.

~ Preferable able to start work immediately.
