We are actively sourcing for a Financial Controller for a Hedge Fund client.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing internal controls for financial reporting, including planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for the fund's operations
- Preparing financial statements for senior management, the Board of Directors, and investors
- Ensuring adherence to government regulations and managing required reporting
- Collaborating with broader operations teams to maintain accurate and clean general ledger records
- Managing relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and the fund administrator
Qualifications:
- CPA qualification and/or experience in Big 4 firms highly preferred
- Minimum of 8 years experience in auditing financial services clients, preferably hedge funds
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and familiarity with various financial derivatives instruments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated integrity and strong ownership of responsibilities
