Position Summary:
The Cafe Manager of the new coffee brand is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stores, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and managing staff effectively. This role reports to the General Manager and will be involved in strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight to ensure the store's success and alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Manage store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, including baristas, shift leaders, and support personnel.
- Schedule shifts, manage time-off requests, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address staff issues and concerns.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Address customer complaints and feedback in a professional and effective manner.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.
4. Sales and Marketing
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
5. Strategic Planning
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with principals.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of store operations, including sales data, expenses, and employee information.
- Prepare reports for upper management as required.
