Travel Designer (Product Planner)

As a member of the Virtuoso Luxury Travel Network, specializing in luxury and experiential travel, you will have the opportunity to work internationally- corresponding with luxury travel suppliers across the globe and partner with global luxury brands.


Job Function

Explore, recommend & design new unsimilar travel itinerary and insider tips to find offbeat experiences and hidden gems hence to collaborate with overseas travel associates. Curate and design new products, to increase online and offline traffic.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough Singapore market analysis to identify untapped opportunities and create imaginative travel products aligned with evolving consumer demands.
  2. Forge strong partnerships with airlines, tourism boards, land operators, and collaborators to explore novel destinations, routes, and pricing strategies.
  3. Lead special project groups, ensuring their success and curating engaging activities for customers during their tours.
  4. Maintain up-to-date tour package details, along with related pricing, on our website.
  5. Provide destination training to sales teams to strengthen their destination knowledge.
  6. Provide dedicated backend support to sales teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of customer services.
  7. Provide weekly updates of sales and inventory figures for management reporting purposes.
  8. Conduct product and sales kit briefings before travel campaigns, both offline and online.
  9. Collaborate with the Marketing Communications and E-commerce departments to strategically position products within the competitive market landscape.
  10. Work with Marketing and technology team on in-house products to increase brand and product visibility.
  11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Travel related studies.
  • Min 1 year experience in product development within the travel industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated negotiation prowess with the ability to cultivate and manage valuable partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency in English & Mandarin to serve mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and adept multitasking skills.
  • Diligent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Tech-savvy and has experience in project/ product management.
  • Able to travel for work.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving travel business environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
