Planning holistic business strategy, working with decision makers and/or Management-level clients, analyzing and identifying opportunities and helping to solve their complex problems in the area for example Digital Transformation and Operational Excellence for Specialty Chemical (Batch) as a consultant to support for Sales and Business Development related activities. Requires full knowledge of product line and its applications, advising clients on technology and solutions broadly, along with a strong understanding of the client's objectives, expectations, challenges, issues, and value proposition. Responsible for overseeing and managing project team operations over lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- As an SME, provide deep technical knowledge and expertise in specialty chemicals, including understanding chemical properties, manufacturing processes, and industry-specific challenges
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the specialty chemicals industry and provide insights that influence product/service/solution development and strategic planning
- Quickly master critical knowledge of unfamiliar technologies and processes in specialty chemicals, leveraging this expertise to make informed decisions and provide high-value insights to clients and internal teams
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for both existing and potential strategic accounts, building key relationships at all levels and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
- Coordinate engagement with customers to gather, analyze, and respond to complex data, introducing internal specialists as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance relationships and strengthen external customer connections through targeted marketing efforts
- Build and leverage a personal network within the business sector, representing the organization at events to gather market intelligence and boost visibility and reputation.
- Foster strong customer relationships by delivering customer-centric solutions, gathering feedback, and ensuring service standards are met
- Lead a cross-functional team to configure complex, tailored product-and-service solutions with contractual terms that meet customer needs regionally and globally
- Support CRM maintenance within your area, identifying and communicating opportunities for system improvements to enhance customer relationship management
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree or Equivalent Level, preferably in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
- More than 10 years of experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames
- At least 6 to 10 years of substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level
- Possess extensive industry domain knowledge
- Must be able to travel with planned or short noticed on-demand basis to support the region whenever there is a business opportunity
