Operations Executive - Family Office

Koru Family Office Pte. Ltd.

Introduction:

In this role, you will be exposed to the family office and asset management in the finance industry. As such, you are responsible in performing an essential role as the backbone of the organization, ensuring smooth functioning of daily operations and financial activities.

This role is versatile and involves a combination of administrative, HR, Compliance, financial, and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:

· Handling tasks like cash management, payment systems, budgeting, basic company and fund accounting, assist in preparing financial reports and others.


Investment Support:

  • Assist portfolio managers / family office advisors with handling client onboarding & account opening affairs and subsequent ongoing support

· Assist portfolio managers / family office advisors with investment activities, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation.

· Support portfolio managers/ family office advisors to provide excellent service to clients so as to achieve client retention and be able to handle daily business tasks


Administrative & HR Support:

· Assist, develop and maintain processes, procedures, controls, technology and systems workflows to promote operational efficiency and accurate record keeping

· Managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office operations

· Manage internal records and information within the company in a confidential and secure manner.

· This includes creating, organizing, and maintaining files and databases.


Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensuring adherence to MAS regulatory requirements and preparing necessary reports

· Liaise with our external compliance team


Miscellaneous:

· Handle both internal and external communication. Liaise and engage with banks, securities firms, fund houses, insurance, financial institutions, compliance, auditor and other strategic partners and third party service providers

  • Any ad-hoc duties as directed by Senior Management
  • Any administrative matters that may arise from time to time

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or above, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields.
  2. Fluent in reading and writing in both Chinese and English is required in order to process documents in both languages.
  3. Proficient in using office software.
  4. Highly meticulous individual and good time management skills
  5. Keen learner, Sophisticated and tactful, with strong communication skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
